I really love this whole Eva collection that I purchased for my newly redecorated guest bathroom. It is modern and sleek looking, and the fact that I could buy the whole collection on line here was a great plus - event he manufacturer did not have some of the pieces in stock.

Bought to match the rest of the bathroom fixtures. Looks good!

Stepped out of the shower this morning, grabbed for my towel and the bar fell to the floor. The plastic mounting plate that holds the bar support was completely fractured. The towel bar is not in a position where it can be bumped , leaned on, or otherwise stressed. I think that perhaps a contributing factor was the installer over tightening the screw that holds the plate to the wall. HOWEVER: Not so long ago, the mounting system consisted of a sturdy stamped METAL plate screwed to the wall. The bar support end was attached to the plate with a simple, small setscrew. This method almost NEVER FAILED! I cannot think of a reason, other than corporate greed, why MOEN decided to save perhaps a penny incorporating that substandard plastic plate. In closing, as an extremely disappointed retired engineer, may I quote: Ya caint make a silk purse out of a sows ear! SHAME ON YOU MOEN!

These fixtures use a ridiculous mounting system. These are mounted by installing a plastic fitting with a single screw and then snapping the fixture onto the plastic fitting. Im concerned about the durability of the plastic fitting and the ability to find a replacement fitting if/when it fails. All other bathroom fixtures Ive installed have a very simple, almost standard sheet metal bracket that mounts with two screws (vertically oriented). Ive always been able to install these types of brackets using existing drywall anchors. The Moen fixtures can be mounted with a single center screw or two horizontally oriented screws. Why horizontal! This required me to remove the existing drywall anchors, then patch and paint the drywall to mount these fixtures. Really annoying to have to do so much work to use an inferior mount design.

I am using Brushed Nickel Eva throughout the house. Love the look and feel and cant beat Amazons price.

We bought this towel bar more than 2 years ago. It looks great and works great. I cant speak to the installation because we had our contractor do it as part of our bathroom remodel. He never complained about it, though. Ive had other towel rods get loose but this one is holding strong, even with my young sons constantly pulling at the towels. I would highly recommend this towel bar!

Already had one but needed another to match for more towels

Great looking tower bar at a nice price. We bought these to match the ones that were already in our bathrooms because we wanted more places to hang towels. There are only two reasons Im giving this four stars instead of five: 1) The horizontal bar does tend to wiggle a little between the side supports. I dont think this is a factor of how I mounted it (I mounted about four of these and they all did the same thing), its just the way the item is constructed. 2) As other reviewers have suggested, youre better off tossing the mounting screws that come with this and using some better hardware. I agree with the reviewer who suggested the E-Z Ancor drywall anchors (available on Amazon and the big-name hardware stores), and Ill add that I have also had good success with Cobra anchors (some of which are rated for up to 100 lbs -- but that would be some darn heavy towels!). Unfortunately, even with a good drywall anchor, two of the four towel bars I installed still had a little wiggle at the mount -- not between the mount and the wall, but between the feet of the towel bar and the mounting plates you install beneath them. Fortunately the wiggling doesnt seem to affect their sturdiness or weight capacity. All in all, this is one of those items that, in my opinion, looks more expensive than it is. And thats always a good thing.

This Eva towel holder add the final piece to the bathroom fixtures. Love the graceful lines and the quality of the entire product line.

Im redoing my entire master bathroom and want the fixtures and towel bars to be from the same collection and style. I was a little apprehensive about the Pro-Fit mounting system used for the Eva collection. When I went to mount the towel bar I had to remove it from the mounting post to make some minor adjustments. There is a small opening in the bottom where you have to insert a very small screwdriver and push on the locking tab to release. You have to apply some pressure all the while pulling on the mounting arm to release it from the post. When I did this to one of the sides the little plastic locking tab broke off completely thus rending the mounting post useless. So I contacted Moen about this situation and was told the you cannot purchase, nor do they stock, the mounting post. However, they were kind enough to send me a complete 18 chrome towel bar which included the posts. So in a nutshell, if you need a mounting post for whatever reason either hope that Moen is generous in the warranty and sends you a whole new package or go with something else. Id rather use the type of mounting bracket that uses the little set screw. That has always worked for me and is metal which wont break like this terrible mounting system.
