> 3 dayI love this backpack. It’s bigger than I expected and I can pack 2-3 days of clothes in it. I like how it can be carried like a suitcase or worn like a backpack. Seems rugged and zippers haven’t given any issues after a weekend trip.

> 3 dayI ordered this as well four other bags to find the right bag for my Europe trip. I needed a “personal item” In addition to my carry-on. This bag came, and I was very excited to see if it works. Everything was designed perfectly to what I need and want with the exception that it looked too big compared to my carry-on. Pros: this bag checked almost all the boxes for me: good water proof material, expandable , can tuck the back straps inside a zipped pocket and carry it as a bag rather than an backpack, has a pocket for laptop or iPad, opens up like a carryon luggage, came with bonus packing cubes and a small see thru toilette bag. Cons: sides are padded but not structured, the foam piece in between the shell and lining was smashed down and doesn’t hold its shape once you unpacked from original shipping. No usb battery plug from the outside (not a deal breaker for me) My carry-on is 23 × 15 × 10 and when I packed it with the items I need in addition to what I couldn’t fit in my suitcase and put this on top, it just looked too big for me to get away with using it as a “personal item”. Returning it only because it won’t work as a personal item. If you use it as a carry-on item itself, then this works.

> 3 dayWell built, sturdy and feels like an expensive backpack. Very pleased with the extra parking cubes it came with. No regrets whatsoever with this purchase However, if there is one thing that can be improved on with this product, I wish it had some sort of security features built in. At a minimum with the zippers.

> 3 dayMy Husband is becoming an expert with these carry-on backpack/suitcases which he prefers over a rolling bag. He likes carrying everything on his back so he has the ability to help me and our kids with his free hands. He has bought several carry-on size backpacks (between 35-45L). The Yeti Crossroads, the Patagonia Black Hole and a bag from Target. The Yeti Crossroads was 35L and it did not expand, and was therefore too small for my husbands frame. If the Yeti was 45L we probably would have kept it, but the $250 price point was a bit high for what it was. The 2nd bag we purchased was a $60 Target Made By Design convertible backpack. The Made By Design bag held way more than you would have ever thought, unfortunately the durability was a issue and after two trips the zippers separated from the fabric and we returned it. My husband currently uses a Patagonia Black Hole MLC 45 which he is thrilled with - good quality, durable, and will last forever. But not cheap at $250 So now lets talk about this backpack! Since this backpack is unbranded for ease we will call it by the store name selling Molnia. I find the Molnia bag to be of similar quality to other bags in this price range. I would imagine if you do not over pack it or abuse the back it will hold up well. The Molnia has no water deterrent/ water resistant characteristics in fact if you plan to spend time in the outdoors in a wet climate, then this is probably not the bag for you. Size: It is listed as 47L with expansion however it certainly feels and is smaller than the Patagonia 45L bag. I don’t know how they measure these bags but it is shorter and not as deep as Patagonia. So if the Patagonia bag is 45L. Then this feels more like 43L. Exterior: I really like the ability to bury the shoulder straps in the pocket. Which is a big plus If you ever flying and need to check the bag. In addition, it can be carried like a suitcase. The clasps and straps, handles are well attached and should provide some durability. The Molnia bag has plenty of outer compartments to hold items which need quick access. Interior: The main section for clothing is roomy, well constructed and has two compartments for organization. One side is a large pouch the other side is open like a suitcase with cross straps. They provided several interior bags for packing: toiletries, a larger bag, smaller bag and shoe bag. Unfortunately they arent the best quality - but they are decent. I would use them all except for the toiletries bag. The third compartment for computers and electronics is ver well padded and has plenty of compartments to hold your electronics in place. The interior computer sleeve easily holds my 17 inch laptop with a strong velcro latch to hold it in place. In sum: Overall I think it is a great value at this price point, well constructed, looks nice and is very well padded. For a weekend jaunt its a great bag at this price point. I just wish it was water-resistant.

> 3 dayI got this to go on a trip in September. Ive tested on small weekend trips to make sure I like it. Even even it was completely full, it was comfortable carrying on my back. It stayed on my shoulders unlike others that I have tried. Cant wait to use it as again.

> 3 dayI agree with all the other positive reviews and comments already left. The other thing of note is that the interior is light gray. Many other black backpacks are black on the inside making it difficult to actually see what youve packed. That was a deciding factor for me after ordering multiples and comparing them. Theres also a small zippered mesh pocket on the back (where the straps are) which is an additional bonus for carrying small items. Just took it on my first 5-day travel and everything I needed (as a woman!) fit w/o expanding!. Delighted

12-06-2025This isnt a typical backpack. Its very spacious and it have a ALOT of pockets. Theres even a spot for a laptop. I tend to overpack in a overnight bag, a overhead size suitcase(even with packing cubes) but I think this will work for me. I havent been traveling lately but Im definitely trying this bag out.
