> 24 hourThis thing is great! I do find Maxpedition bags to be my general go-tos as I have a Wolfspur and the Fat Boy. I got this bag as I was looking for something that I could daily carry with my work machine (a Microsoft Surface Go) and my day to day tech/readiness supplies. It works beautifully. Plenty of space in the main pocket along with plenty of other pockets to fit my gear. And the ergonomics of the bag are excellent! I wish that there was one just a little bigger for when I switch to a Surface Pro ;)

> 24 hourI bought this as an EDC and a range bag. It fits my Sig and two 17 round mags perfectly. I also use it for work. Slung across my body with the bag carried to the rear it is amazingly comfortable. There are more compartments than I have stuff. The compartments are laid out in a very useful configuration. I am a firefighter so I carry my portable radio with the Mic attached and it fits like it was made for it. The nylon is tough and the quality excellent. I could not be more happy with this bag. Just buy it.

> 24 hourI purchased this bag based on many 5 star reviews. Maxpedition has come up with a great design, but their Quality Assurance process needs to be improved. The stitched on pocket on the flap of the bag looks like it was stitched on by someone learning to sew. The folks at Maxpedition simply call it just a cosmetic issue, but when people look at this bag, the first thing you notice is the questionable stitching located right above the Maxpetition logo, it speaks for its self. When you spend good money for a nice product, you expect a good product, not a product with questionable parts. Note to self, in future if there is something that I want from Maxpedition, find a store somewhere that carries it, inspect it, and if it looks good, then Buy it.

> 24 hourOk, first of all its a shame that such a great product wasnt made in the U.S. This bag, is really on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for, everything is just sturdy, even when I need to sprint across the airport I just fasten the hip strap to my waist and I can just be carefree. Say you need to go through rain? no problem, the water just slides against the fabric. Doesnt even smell bad in damp conditions. This is a heavy bag though, I usually pack my netbook in it, a full sized knife, a flashlight, wifi device, tactical pen. First aid kit. and sometimes a gun. I know its overkill, but sometimes those long camping trips just need one bag where you can say this is emergency bag

> 24 hourGreat bag! If you know Maxpedition products, this is more of the same. SOLID. Functional. Well considered. Pricey, but you truly do get what you pay for. The first review posted went into quite a bit of detail, so I wont re-iterate (except to agree a grab handle would have been nice). I would add two thoughts: 1) Ive longed for a more carry-able version of the Jumbo/Fatboy to carry to and from a work setting. This bag fills that niche. It LOOKS like a messenger bag and is big enough to carry a legal pad or three-ring binder. Even with this main compartment filled, the bag still has a ton of EDC potential. 2) If you focus on JUST the long top pocket on the bag. There is an elastic strap across one side of that compartment-- I use the slots in the elastic to hold down a small flashlight, knife, multi-tool, lighter, whistle. On the other side of the compartment is a zippered mesh pocket -- perfect for Handi-wipes and a small first-aid kit. This, of course, leaves space for free floating gear in between the elastic straps and the mesh pocket. This is just one pocket -- and there are TONS more -- but it illustrates the type of organizational design that makes Maxpedition bags so super-functional. Strong recommend.

> 24 hourThis is a great bag for all your edc needs. All sorts of compartments and pockets to store all that you may need in a day. The back Pocket has been great for storing my firearm when its not convenient to wear in the supertuck. In the top pocket the little sleeves are great for holding the bit sets for my leatherman. The phone pocket holds the phone nice and snug even without the buckle snapped in. The water bottle slot holds my 1000ml camel back nicely. The one grip I can think of is the lack of a grab handle. That aside I couldnt be happier with the Mongo

> 24 hourI bought a smaller jumbo versipack 1st and really like it but needed more room. Enter the mongo. Same fantastic quality as the jumbo but lots more room. Ive loaded it out 2different ways. 1St I packed in my regular EDC stuff from my jumbo and then started to carry as my EDC. That only lasted 3 days like that. That sucker is heavy. In a emergency get home situation I can carry it but for every day carry its a pain. Its current role is a truck get home bag. It holds my regular EDC stuff and the extras for emergencies. I have the smaller jumbo on me all the time and it carries me over to the big bag. This mongo could make a Great Tactical diaper bag. Update: Ive had the mongo for over a year now. This bag is still awesome! No rips or weak spots..still looks like new.

> 24 hourGreat bag. I use it as a work and travel bag. It accommodates my laptop and all of the things I need on a daily basis. I did add a grab handle on top. As other reviewers said, it needs one and that has helped to make it much more useful.
