Got this bag two years ago as a gift to use as a diaper bag. So disappointed and bummed that with such light use the buckle broke after a year. For something this expensive I was expecting much more. The plastic is brittle when it’s cold out so keep that in mind.

Maxpedition bags rock, as many of you probably already know. i had a smaller one called the jumbo versipack for day trips and now we have this larger one for baby essentials for our newborn too. Quality is exactly what I expected and will use it for years to come for anything life throws at us. Wonder how long until I buy another Maxpedition, since its kind of addicting :P

I purchased this when I upgraded from a 7inch tablet to the Microsoft Surface Pro and needed a larger bag to carry it. The Surface, in its carrying case, fits into the Mongo quite easily while not being excessively loose, and still leave quite a bit of room width wise for other items. The lack of a 5th star is due to one of the pockets being extremely hard to access until I spent almost a month with it packed full of paper towels to form it.

This thing is great! I do find Maxpedition bags to be my general go-tos as I have a Wolfspur and the Fat Boy. I got this bag as I was looking for something that I could daily carry with my work machine (a Microsoft Surface Go) and my day to day tech/readiness supplies. It works beautifully. Plenty of space in the main pocket along with plenty of other pockets to fit my gear. And the ergonomics of the bag are excellent! I wish that there was one just a little bigger for when I switch to a Surface Pro ;)

This bag is awesome I use it on a daily basis to carry the stuff I need to get me around. I am legally blind and with this bag it allows me to store all of necessary equipment that i may need with me in a safe place while using my cane while walking and getting around.

I have a few of these so called tactical bags. This for me is by far the best engineered bag. The amount of pockets and little nooks for stuff is just amazing. Originally used it as my EDC bag and even fit in my 13 inch laptop (yup, it fits....sort of, but you need to add in your own padding) for my daily trip to the office. Have since re-prioritised the bag for use as a Get Home bag that I keep in my car. Holds pretty much everything I need to get home should I ever get stuck away from home.

I bought this a couple of weeks back. I have used it as an overnight bag, a light day pack whilst on a 3D Archery Range in the Australian Bush, and most recently on a 2 hour Bush walk in temps over 35c / 95f.

Large and in-charge, the mongo has a massive main compartment surrounded by plenty of slip & zippered pockets, Rear CCW storage, phone pouch, a large array of attachment points, and tons of loop field for patches & accessories. The mongo holds true to the ergonomic Versipack design, so you can load it up and it won"t drag you down. Equipped with a comfortable shoulder and waist strap and a rear padded Island that conforms to the body, This spacious everyday carry is a great work bag, camera bag, Diaper bag or short-excursion bag. If you love the jumbo Versipack but need more space, The mongo Versipack is just the bag for you.
