I really like this version of Monopoly, it doesn’t last as long, it has good strategies, I love playing it with friends.

We love this game, but this design does not have the bright colors that the other one has. The price on the other one was a dollar or so more, but well worth it. When shopping for this game look at the two brand offerings and I would recommend the brighter colored green box....

Game is very easy to learn and play, takes the heavy marathon board game and transforms it into a light, sprint or dash card game! Monopoly is enjoyable once again! As far as value for the money, you wont find a better deal than $3.99 for this game anywhere. Even here in Amazon there are at least 4 different/unique printings/versions of the exact same set of cards with the only difference between any of them being the card illustrations. This item (the Blue Box set) is the least expensive if any of the variant printings/versions. The Green Box Amazon Special printing/version is exactly double ($7.98) the price of this Blue Box item, but the card graphics/texts/and illustrations of theGreen Box cards are larger and WAY easier to read. In my humble opinion, that in itself makes it worth it to spring for the Green Box set rather than just save money on the Blue Box set. Next up from the Green Box set is the Black Box set, which, once again, is double the price of the previous set (Green Box), and almost a full 4x the price ($14.99) of the Blue Box set being reviewed here in this item. But the Black Box set of cards is still identical to the Green Box set, so only buy the Black Box set if you want to WASTE...THROW AWAY...SQUANDER your money (or, just because you like the black box color better than the green or the blue!)! Lastly, my overall rating is a 4-Star rating...it is knocked down from being 5-Stars only because of the poor readability of the cards in this Blue Box set. I didnt go lower than a 4-Star rating because, even though the cards are more difficult to read than any other set, the graphics/texts/illustrations are very attractive to look at, much more graphically creative and pleasing to the eye at first glance than any of the other card sets are. So its up to you to decide which set youll go with...Blue, Green, or Black. The game content (# of cards, instructions/rules sheet/4-Quick Reference cards) of the boxes of each different set are IDENTICAL and the gameplay is EXACTLY THE SAME. The weight/quality of the cards in each of the various sets is also exactly the same. It really does come down to price, card readability, and graphic esthetics.

This game is so fun and quick. Took three games to really get the flow but now we can play it in 30 minutes or less!

This game makes winning Monopoly easy and more fun for younger children who do not like to play a competitive board game for hours.

This is one of the most fun card games that I have played in 30 years! My daughter showed us this game, and we bought it to bring to our place in Switzerland. Lots of fun for two or more! We play about four hands a day since one hand only takes about 10-15 minutes. This is a bit of a problem though: the card stock is poor, so they start getting bent up after about a month of daily playing. The manufacturers should fix that, especially since there are two decks — needs to be durable with all the shuffling needed. We have bought two more packs in the meantime but are hoping that the stock will be improved eventually. Still, MUCH more fun than traditional Monopoly so give it a try!

Played this at my friends place and we all had fun. Purchased right after I came to my place. Very easy to learn and play. I recommend at least 3 ppl to play this.

I must have played hundreds of monopoly games over my life, so when one day, at a friends place, I was proposed to play Monopoly deal, I thought Another stupid reinvention of something that does not need it but I decided to be fair and I played. The game turned out to be much more fun than I was worried about. It is a bit of a mix between Monopoly and Uno since it is card based and since you can choose your victims. It is still a game of luck more than skills but it requires nonetheless some acumen to win most times. Here is how it goes: Players get a certain amount of cards that the can either keep in their hands, unplayed or on the table, face visible to everyone. No dices, people can pull one card from the deck and decide to keep it in their hands, put one on the table in front of them or use one card to attack opponents. The first person with a combination of 3 set of terrains win. Here is what I like about it: - Fast game... It usually last about 30 mn. - Fun interaction between players (with a sense of humor) - Possibility to target who you want (not just left or right of you like in UNO). - Rules are easy to memorize. - Cheap I could not find anything to dislike about it. In conclusion: 5 stars.
