Monoprice 104765 35-Feet Premier Series XLR Male to 1/4-Inch TRS Male 16AWG Cable gold

Greater than one weekThe first cable I tried plugged into my nutrik combo socket just fine. On the second cable, on the male XLR end, the pins were slightly misaligned with the housing. After a little bit of swearing and a mini phillips screwdriver to remove the XLR connector housing, and straightening the plastic piece with the three pins coming out of it, the cable fit just fine into the back of my monitor speaker. Upon opening the connector, it appeared that the conductors looked smaller than my other XLR cables, but in operation, from my interface to my monitors, it works fine and is noiseless. A little DIY troubleshoot and fix to save some money earns 4 stars.

> 3 dayMonoprice makes some awesome wires! I bought two of these to convert the outputs on my mixer. The 16-gauge wire itself is nice and thick and the connectors high-quality. No complaints!

> 3 dayIt is simply impossible to go wrong with these cables - unless maybe you order the wrong length. They are so inexpensive one can buy multiple sets and still pay less than branded cables. Since I found these I dont even waste time considering others. Theres no point. These meet all of the relevant requirements. Its rare these days to find a product of such basic, consistent quality at a fair price.

> 3 dayI ordered 2 of these to use as a stereo pair in my video cam rig. Got to the gig one night, opened both cables and one of them didnt work! I checked my connections and weeded out the bad cable. The other one works fine, but need 2 on most jobs! Im having to make do with my old cables and DI tubes to pad my signals......Although this cable doesnt pad the signal, the xlr, doubles as a 1/4-xlr converter cable that my cam uses on the inputs. I packed the bad cable back up, and its sitting here on my work table! I requested assistance awhile back to exchange the bad cable for a new one, but havent heard ANYTHING from this company OR Amazon! Thus the 2-star rating........ Order at your own risk!

> 3 dayDurable, well constructed, allows me to connect powered studio monitors to my audio interface. The cable itself is pliable and the jacks on either end appear to be well attached with freedom of movement. Recommended.
