Good quality. Successfully carries electricity over a 12-inch distance from a wall outlet into an LED power supply. Would purchase again.

Great quality cables at a really good price point. heavy duty These are being used for amplified speakers. They are 15 feet in length.

Pros: Thick cable, should be able to handle lots of amps without overheating Inexpensive Cons: Really not 1ft, its actually 11.5 inches when you measure only the plastic part - the 1ft measurement is very tip of the female end, to very tip of prongs on the male end. (SJWs have been successfully triggered) I dont think this cord can be considered 1ft long. Its 1ft from the very tip of the plastic on the female end, to the very tip of the prongs on the male end. I was aware of this mis-measurement prior to purchasing, thanks to another reviewer - but I didnt understand that it was to the tip of the prongs. I thought it was 12 inches from the tip of the plastic to the plastic base below the prongs, which believe it or not made the difference between this working for me and not working for me. I believe if its labeled as a 12/1ft cord, the cord itself should be 1ft, not including the plugs - as technically a plug is not a cord in and of itself. Regardless of that, the build quality was good and the gauge of the cable seemed to be really good. This was relieving, as the other 1ft cords I found prior to this one had gauge issues where too much amperage would result in overheating and nearly catching fire. I gave this a 3-star rating because although the measurement was off, the cord was good and inexpensive. I think Ill be able to use it in a different application so Im not going to bother returning.

I ordered the 25 foot long version. The power cord that arrived had a label saying 25ft but it was physically 2 feet long. See the accompanying pictures. Also I ordered the standard 3 prong plug, NEMA 5-15p, and thats what was on the label. BUT the actual cord had a NEMA 5-20p plug. Thats a plug that you might use for things like a power washer or portable welder. That plug wont fit a household15 ampere outlet. In short, the cable was useless for me. Amazon deleted my review the first time, as they are wont to do with < 5 star reviews. Lets see if this version survives whichever Amazonian censor peruses it.

It appears that the seller of this item has no idea what 14AWG means. Although this cable appears to be 10 feet long, the wire is only 18AWG, which is smaller, for those who dont know. I wanted 14AWG because it has a higher power rating due to its larger conductors. This is not an upgrade in power, only in lengh. If I wanted 18 gauge wire, I would have purchased such. I hope this item will be relisted to 18AWG, but for this disappointed customer, its already too late.
