I really like these metallic acrylics very much. They would be great to use making holiday cards. I can see snow scenes on either a black or white paper. I used these acrylics with Stonehenge black watercolor paper and they worked great. Being acrylics, they could also be used on canvas that designed for acrylic use. In the watercolor with the tree and mountains I used regular watercolors for the painting, and the metallic acrylics for the leaves. If the painting is facing the sun correctly the leaves really shimmer and bring a lot of life to the painting. I am including this painting to show that the metallic acrylics can be used for emphasis and accents to spice up a regular watercolor painting. In the painting with the blue mountains I have used metallic acrylics to create a minimalist scene, The white in the moon and surrounding the person was done with white pastel applied with a q-tip. Finally, the painting of the flower on black watercolor paper was done entirely with these metallic acrylics. I really enjoy using these paints. They are a good value for the money. The color selection is good. They come out of the tube with a creamy texture and are easy to apply to the paper directly or thinned with water. If you decide to get these paints, I hope you have a lot fo fun with them!

Oh my gosh! I about flipped when I saw these metallic acrylic paints! I love, love metallic paint! But usually youll see the metal colors in metallic but this set also has vibrant colors you dont see in metallics! Im so happy! These metallic paints were designed in Australia by Mont Marte and made in China. The 12 gorgeeeeeeeous colors are: Gold, Silver, Antique Bronze, Black, Grey, Lime Green, Bright Blue, Purple, Cerise Pink, Magenta, Tangerine, Yellow, and White. Wonderful! I love a little shimmer in my paintings especially if its a woman. Got to have some bling! These metallic acrylic paints are awesome! Purple, pink, magenta metallics are drop dead gorgeeeeeeeous! What Id usually do is add mica powders to my paints to get homemade metallics but these are ready to use. Fabulous! I just keep going with the adjectives. Ha! Youve got to try these!

My picture is of the black grey on wood. It has a metallic shine to it. It went on easily. These are decent size for tubes and a little goes a long way. It dried quickly. It looks like the actual color. I like the variety of the metallic paint.

Just doodling in my art journal with these Mont Marte Metallic Acrylic Paint and love, love them! So beautiful and that shimmer is gorgeous! You dont notice it as much shimmer until it dries. I love the Rose, Turquoise, and the Sea Green is to die for. I love color basically and Ill probably have these paints gone in no time. You dont want to paint an entire painting with metallic paint but to mix them with opaque paints so you have a contrast which makes the metallics stand out. These paints glide on easily and once dry you can see the shimmer which is stunning! LOVE, love, love these paints!!!!

Love the metallic look. Applied well to canvas. Was even able to add a 3D affect with extra layers. Good acrylic paint for beginners.
