Processed a flock of meat birds and these bags worked great! The only thing I’d suggest is that you not follow the instructions regarding how long to dunk them for. Leaflet says 10-12 seconds but I found it started to cook the meat when you keep it in the boiling water for that long. I started doing 5-8 second dunks it they shrunk up perfectly. Also, ditch the straw! That was an unnecessary hassle. Put the bird in, squeeze out all the air, spin the bag and zip tie it almost completely tight, dunk the bird and then tighten the zip. My birds have been in the freezer for over a week and they’re still perfectly shrink wrapped with no ice crystals inside the bag.

I love that they include the labels that are easy to fill out and look great! This is our first time raising meat chickens and we will be doing this again and using these bags. They were easy to use and had good instructions on how to do it right.

After being frozen a few weeks, you could see ice on inside of bag. Bag did not seal tightly enough to prevent freezer burn

I reviewed and reviewed and studied how to use these bags to shrink wrap my chickens however, they never fully shrink wrapped.

These were so eastcto use and they sealed the chicken perfectly. Almost like the store seals them. I love these bags!
