I am totally amazed by this product. It worked great once we got it all figured out. Make sure your water is above 185 and submerge the whole bag all but the top and the straw that is sticking out. You will hear the air coming out of the straw and you can watch it shrink around the bird. Will purchase again.

Processed a flock of meat birds and these bags worked great! The only thing I’d suggest is that you not follow the instructions regarding how long to dunk them for. Leaflet says 10-12 seconds but I found it started to cook the meat when you keep it in the boiling water for that long. I started doing 5-8 second dunks it they shrunk up perfectly. Also, ditch the straw! That was an unnecessary hassle. Put the bird in, squeeze out all the air, spin the bag and zip tie it almost completely tight, dunk the bird and then tighten the zip. My birds have been in the freezer for over a week and they’re still perfectly shrink wrapped with no ice crystals inside the bag.

We processed both turkeys and chickens, the bags worked well for both. The larger birds had to be quartered but we had planned on that.

Based on the other reviews, I was expecting these bags to provide a nice tight fit, but they didn’t seem to shrink up as much as I was hoping. I bagged 25 birds ranging from 4-6 lbs and they were easy enough to use. I don’t like the twist and zip tie to close, I think I would use a metal clip or hog ring next time. I didn’t feel like I could get the zip ties to pull tight enough without breaking

These bags were super easy to use and very thick! Great size for cornish cross roosters. Too big for ziplock bags these bags were big with plenty of room. The process was super easy and worked as stated.

Amazing product. I had researched the best way to package my meat birds after processing. I was going to vacuum seal them, but the moisture gets sucked out of the bird and doesnt create a good deal. I looked on Amazon and had heard about this product. I was amazed at how easy and professional the finished product looks. I also has labels made up from Texas Poultry Shrink Bags and once again you can see the result. I have refered them to all my poultry farming friends and will continue to do business with them as my farm is growing.

These worked well! We used them to finish some ducks we had processed and will happily use them for all our future poultry needs. Much easier to package and store than if we had used giant ziplock bags like before.
