The fingerprint reader can be a little finicky if you dont clean the sensor regularly but thats not the fault of the phone, and if necessary you can simply delete your original fingerprint and do it over again. Other than this everything about this phone has been working great for me and Im very happy with my purchase.

This stupid phone wants the camera to be on - for it to stay on when you look at it. Dark screen all the time. Have to press the side button for it to come on--and its hard to come on. The scroll or swap feature does not work (with the finger). When making a call, after entering the number, the screen goes dark & can not turn on Speaker option. The volume is too low & can not increase it. Can not hear the other person talk. Only by speaker it works--which you cant turn on. Screen is dark. Its a terrible phone. belongs in the garbage. Can not return. Began using 2 mos after arrival (did not know this would happen). In general, do not like touch screen phones. Miss my hard keyboard phone--which worked like a dream. And was great for texting. This phone is terrible for texting. Finger is too big for tiny letters on the screen. Other letters get typed in (auto correction though--but still a pain). Hate It!

I am coming from a Galaxy 5, so I miss the compactness my old phone. That said, this size is the current standard and I am getting used to it. Battery life and phone reception are both excellent. Camera is good but doesnt seem like an upgrade in sharpness from the S5 12 mp (this one has 16 mp I believe). It does have 3 lenses however, so its pretty much current and it only cost $130 do its a great value, I think.

Description of this warehouse deal said Used - Good - Small cosmetic imperfections on front bezels. Small cosmetic imperfections on sides of the item. Small cosmetic imperfection on bottom or back of item. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged. The phone itself is terrific and looks new. Problems. 1. minor - SIM/sdcard eject tool was missing. I had to find something to use. Either the wall adapter or USB-C cable was missing, too, but I had extras so I dont remember details about that. 2. major - phone arrived LOCKED by previous owner and could not be unlocked. Factory reset in recovery triggered androids FRP (factory reset protection). Unusable phone. I found a workaround on youtube (see vid v31HIO7pLKE) but Amazon Warehouse should make sure the phone is not locked by the previous owner before selling used.

I like the phone. Had a Moto G5 previously. Just dont like the swiping to go back to the previous page in a browser. No back arrow, just swipe. So, when Im on Instagram or another site that you swipe to advance - my finger position is just a bit to close to the edge of the screen and it goes backwards. Ive had the phone for over 2 months and it still happens from time to time.

I text, play Best Fiends, and use Kindle app...Im pretty basic and this phone is more than enough. Was quick to transfer from my dying Moto G5 and I only stumbled over the full screen, no button difference for about a day. Hooks up to all my usual wi-fi locations and Mint network (pre-paid provider on a T-mobile backbone) works fine in the couple places Ive been without wi-fi. I spend $180/yr on my mobile service, Im not dropping $1,000 on a phone...

Its a good price for a smart phone, bit dont try comparing it to any of the new phones on the market. Watching videos-screen is only 720p and pretty dark. With brightness maxed, netflix is watchable in a dark room. Youtube handles the dark screen better. Apps-just using the phone normally causes it to freeze at times. It is slow at just about everything it does. I havent had any issues using any apps, but it does load newer apps very slowly as its not a processing powerhouse that most of the new phone are. Again, it does the job. Camera-takes decent pics to share with friends, but doesnt come close to any of the new cameras out there, especially the iphone camera. Dont expect to take photography shots with this phone, but again, I have taken plenty of family pics with it. It works, just not ground breaking by any means. I bought it as a replacement as my last phone was stolen, and for what I do, it works fine.

This phone is well worth the MSRP let alone if its on sale or $150 then its a steal. It has a nicer Snapdragon 600 series processor and 3gb of ram. It is not slow at all. Screen is decent, lets you adjust color, blue light filtering option and dark mode option because it is running Android 10 out of the box. It has usb-c charging which is usually hard to find on cheaper devices so thats good. Overall amazing phone for the price.
