22-11-2024My very first pair of skates, I guess I’m kinda late to the epidemic of skating but even so I’m really excited about it. The size fits really good I’m normally a 10 wide or an 11 if the shoe isn’t wide but these are wide enough and fit perfect. A little bit uncomfortable but definitely not the worst thing I’ve put on my feet just need to be broken in a little. I do almost wish they weren’t so stiff but I understand why they are which also inturn kind of makes them great for beginners. I didn’t have any scuffs of show of wear like other people had mentioned. I did notice tho that some of the stitching ends weren’t tucked in but you can’t really tell to much. Anyways I’m super excited to start this journey and can’t wait till I get good enough to really cruise

> 3 dayI wear a size 8 shoe so also ordered the skate in an 8. Too big to feel totally secure but can wear extra socks and be okay. I would prefer a more snug secure support. I ordered the black ones and they look just like the picture which I love!

Greater than one weekUnfortunately on the inside of the boot at the balls of the feet there is a huge metal plate which makes it very uncomfortable.

> 3 dayThis is the second pair of “beginner” (aka; not $300 or more) skates I’ve purchased in an attempt to find the best fit, best price, and best options in skates that are under $125. That being said, the first pair of skates I ordered (Foxy skates) came in better packaging, and the packaging was in a separate box. These look like they had already been worn and returned before I received them. Not only that, but they were left on my porch in the snow, and without a shipping box to protect it, so the product packaging was further damaged as it got wet. Good thing these weren’t for a gift, or I’d be really disappointed! As for the fit, they are very stiff and supportive (which if you’re a beginner and just intend to cruise around is fine I guess) but they run very, very wide. If you have thicker feet or wide feet, these will fit comfortably. If you have narrow or thin feet, they will feel roomy, possibly more roomy than you might like. I’m going to have to return these, because they are just too wide, and no matter how much I pull to tighten the laces, I cannot get them tight enough to safely skate in. Moxi is a great brand for skates, and their more expensive ones are made in the USA, but the rainbow riders are made in China. I almost wish I had kept the first pair of Foxy skates I bought, because the boot fit me better. The things I like about the rainbow riders are that they still carry the Moxi brand name, they are definitely fun and playfully designed, the tongue is longer, so it doesn’t slip down under the laces (like the Foxy skates did) and the toe stop is adjustable (Foxy skates only came with a replaceable toe stop, it was not adjustable and I didn’t like how it was positioned). So, aside from the fact that Amazon did a poor job of shipping them, aside from the fact that they’re made in China, and aside from the fact that they’re way too wide for my feet, they’re a decent beginner skate. Although, after comparing them to the Foxy skates I previously ordered, I’d say the only differences you’re paying for are the adjustable vs replaceable toe stop, a longer tongue and the brand name.

> 3 dayThis is my second pair of skates. My first pair were low tops that I used for speed and roller derby. I just tried these today on a plastic top rink. They were a bit constricting but comfortable being worn with moderately thick high socks. Theyre very cute and I got a bunch of compliments on them. They seem to be of good quality so far. The wheels are a bit hard so not very grippy when doing cross overs do Ill probably switch them to the jelly kind of wheels.

> 3 dayWas on the lookout for a good beginner skates after jumping on the rollerskating wagon. These were exactly like what I expected them to be; amazing quality and beautiful design and colours for a very worthy price. I am usually a EU37/38 and got a size 6, which is a perfect fit. These would also definitely fit those with wider feet. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pair of decent skates.

17-11-2024I purchased these skates after not skating for about 25 years. The skates are dope. I love the design and the feel. I usually wear a womens 8 and i purchased an 8. It fits perfectly even with thick socks. Pros: aesthetics, sturdiness, and durability, good for beginners and skating outside. Cons: doesnt come with tools to align/adjust the wheels (which is why i gave it a 4), and the toe stop is a bit small. Overall, I would recommend.
