Multi Clamshell Ruler

Good for long arming, however the shapes are quite small and these rulers tend to shift. I had to purchase additional grips to keep it in place. Also, they crack easily if dropped. I find the smallest size is too small to make me want to use it in any custom quilting. I have used the 2 largest sides. I purchased this thinking that it was almost like a 4in one, however I wasnt overly impressed.

Use a LOT on my longarm!

Used Hq clamshell template for long arm quilting. Very good versatile tool, makes many different designs. Good size to use for ruler base sewing, easy to manage.

I love it! I havent used it yet, but have been adding more rulers to my supplies so I can explore ruler quilting more on my long arm. I have a straight ruler I use often, and want to start exploring curves. I saw this demoed recently and I am excited to try working with it. Handi Quilter rulers are very well made, excellent quality. The price was also very reasonable.

Excellent 1/4 thickness. However, for quilting on a home machine, its a bit cumbersome to do a repeat clamshell pattern from edge to edge. I will use for small sections where I need a half circle so it was not a complete waste. Hopefully, I will get a longarm someday and be really able to see the benefits of this rulers. Its a good clamshell ruler with 4 sizes, but more suited for a long arm.
