17-11-2024I just have to say, that sometimes in the many adventures that we have had in this minivan of ours, that puke has been an issue. And not just a little burp of discomfort. Im talking, full blown, Niagra falls, Colorado River type vomit. The kind that makes grown men cry and mothers weep. Puke with a stench so putrid that not even the vilest of creatures that roam this mortal realm can stand to be in its presence. Many times Ive considered just leaving the van at a scrapyard as fodder for the crusher and hitchhiking home with my bevy of children. That being said, these mats have miraculously been able to contain the liquified contents of my childrens stomachs with aplomb. Cleaning is always a cinch, and no stuck on crust or sticky puddle of despair stands a chance on these things. Tales will be told until they retreat into legend, of the amazing miracle mats and their unparalleled power. King Arthur aint got nothin on these babies.

> 3 dayThis is always the first item I add to my registry when I am expecting. This product is incredible at doing its job! We got stuck in horrible stand still traffic once and my daughter peed through her diaper. It went through her clothes and her carseat, but never touched my seats because it puddled into this seat protector! I always recommend it to everyone!

> 3 dayI have these to go under all 3 of my children’s car seats. I love that they protect the leather! I did not have them in my last car and you could see the grooves in the leather seats the day that I sold it so they were a must for my new car. Superior to other brands. My ONLY complaint and reason for 4 stars is that they are HUGE. I drive a Ford Expedition EL and they definitely cover ever single square inch of the seat. Not a big deal for my younger two who are still in a 5 point harness, but kind of a pain for my son who is in a high back booster using the actual seatbelt since these seat guardians block the buckle. Not sure how these would possibly fit in a smaller car.

> 3 dayWe have purchased five of these car seat protector over the years. First, my husband bought one for his car, as he has leather seats. It worked so well, that he bought another one for his car for our other child. Then, he eventually replaced all of our car seat protectors in my minivan with the Brica Seat Guardian Car Seat Protector. These car seat protectors have rubber strips the prevent the car seat from slipping during quick stops (we live in the country and have had to brake for deer multiple times). Other car seat protectors have allowed fluids to drip down onto the seats, mostly where the belt or latch connects to the seats. Not these ones, there is a lip that prevents any fluids from dripping down onto the seat itself. These car seat protectors are easy to clean up and easy to install, and have lasted several years with our children growing up. We have used these car seat protectors with bothe the LATCH system and with the lapbelt. This works with booster seats as well as now our oldest has graduated from a car seat to a booster seat. I like that there is a lower flap that protects the seat from snowy and muddy shoes. These car seat protectors seem to be waterproof as there have been little puddles from drinks that I have had to clean up rather than soaking through or leaking through to the seat itself. All of our car seats fit onto these car seat protectors with the exception of our latest (and by far largest) baby car seat. The base of this one just rests ontop of the lip of the car seat protector. After securing the car seat properly, there is no movement or tilt to the car seat (just the lip of the car seat protector is now compressed down in that area). We will never purchase another car seat protector again after previously purchasing three different brands, which all had great reviews. With our kids through hockey practices, picnics, multiple long distance trips of 11-20 hours each to Disney World and family living out of state, these protectors have held up and surpassed all of our expectations!

> 3 dayI think these are pretty good. They look like theyll hold up. But my kids (in booster seats now, without the back support) complain that the back isnt as comfortable as the real seat. I just tell them that when they are finally done being messy, dirty, sticky little goblins, they can use the real seat. Until then, suck it up buttercup

Greater than one weekIve gone through several seat protectors and this is the best yet. The kick flap does a great job of protecting the front edge of the seat from my front-facing daughters shoes. The cutouts for the seat anchors make for a very easy carseat installation. The material holds water, and the ridge helps contain spills that leak through the carseat. Now for the reason that I didnt give 5 stars: My seats still have permanent carseat dents! The material is thick & pretty rigid, and the plastic supports do help with keeping the underside from making sharp dents in your seats... BUT the plastic supports end up doing as much damage as the underside of the carseat would have done! They arent flush with the bottom of the protector, and they have sharp edges. Really, these have been excellent. Until someone makes a seat protector with a properly rigid bottom, this is probably your best bet!

> 3 dayThis both protects the leather seats from dirt/grime and indentations from the infant car seats. To prevent indentations in the seat area from the teal cross design I use an old bathroom towel. Ive removed the munchkin seat covers a couple times since installation and so far so good - no indentations.

> 3 dayI initially thought I was buying the same protector I had in the past buuut... This one is different. I had my doubts because it slid around easily but once you put the weight of the car seat, even with trying to shake it, it stays in place.

> 3 dayMy family loves these to save our seats from our tornado toddler. We bought these seat protectors when he was little and it was nice to keep his dirty shoes off the seat backs but now as a toddler, they keep the goldfish, string cheese, French fries, and every other crumb out of the crevices of our actual seats of the car. It’s easy to slip off the headrest and dump the crumbs out. I like that it also protects our leather seats from the car seats.
