Greater than one weekNeeded a child-proof latch as our baby daughter, growing into a curious toddler, was getting her paws in my file drawers. Saw the great reviews but balked at the high price some resellers were asking. The prices now seem much more reasonable. Im blown away how easy this is to attach and use. If standard child latches dont work in a particular situation, I highly recommend this product for all the concerned parents.

> 3 dayI am really happy with these. I spent a lot of time installing the baby cabinet guards that you screw into the door and base and they catch on a latch. My toddlers figured those out quickly. Just be sure you have space for them. I have older awkward cabinets that have a design on them and had to take the actual knobs off of some to use these. Photo shows I had to remove knobs. These are great for dressers too.

> 3 dayThese are the best. We literally have them everywhere. Doors, pantry, drawers, oven....you name it. They havent failed us yet and weve bought about three or four packages now.

> 3 dayWork brilliantly, have had them for months now and tape has held. No other type of lock would work for our cupboards.

> 3 dayWe have used other brands with the same idea but these are by far the best. We have acutally removed the other brands and replaced them with more of the Munchkin ones.

> 3 dayI like that you can stick it anywhere. It does a good job. Its not a hassle to get open and closed (for adults). One drawback is it is permanent-- theres no way we can get it off our furniture without ripping the finish off. But the alternative with a system where you drill holes and screw in a little latch, so that wouldve ruined our furniture just the same. I guess its a small price to pay for a childproof house.

> 3 dayWe use these on everything - toilets, drawers, cabinets. Love them. They keep our one and two year old out. And they are easier than many other models of lock-outs, which I often found required two hands to get open and/or closed.

> 3 dayOne out of the four latches ordered was immediately defective. Only option for return was to de-install the already glued latches and send all back to Amazon for replacement. There was no option to just replace the defective latch. Process was too much trouble so did not opt for replacement, I wish they would just send me the one that is broken. It seems like a good product but surprised with defect so keep that in mind when considering it.

> 3 dayWe are using this in various areas throughout the house. As per another reviewer, I removed the adhesive and replaced with 3M strips when using on wood or surfaces that I didnt want damaged. These things hold very well and detours our toddler after he attempts to open drawer or whatever. I just placed one on oven door this week. Working great. Sadly, there are limited things available that actually work....these do exactly what theyre meant to do. Simple to apply.
