First of all, this album is fantastic. It wasn’t as good as the black parade but is Still very much worth checking out. It blends a lot of rock genres like goth rock, emo, post hardcore, and even a little metal. From the emotional “the ghost of you” to the thundering “thank you for the venom” and the scene classic “I’m not ok” there’s just so much to satisfy that dark part of your heart that hasn’t gotten over your emo phase. Unfourtounately, the vinyl pressing is kinda average. It’s still listenable, but it’s nothing special. The album art is a little blurry and the sound quality is ok. Side A has really bad inner groove distortion making “the jetset life is gonna kill you” really not very good sounding. I wouldn’t say it’s awful because I’ve heard much worse (like from under the cork tree’s 2018 vinyl release) but it is a little annoying. Other than that the rest of the record sounds pretty good. Arrived in good quality and played fine with no skips or smudges. I wouldn’t reccomend if your a sticker for sound quality but if your an MCR fan who wants this in your collection, then by all means go for it.

if youre a parent and ur kid wants this for their birthday: yeah he says some swears but honestly this album is all around awesome. also your kid has great taste. :) ok so basically what we got here is a BIG 35-MINUTE AUDITORY HORROR FLICK so the demolition lovers are on the cover and the guys gotta get his girl back by making a deal with the frickin devil and bringing him the souls of 1000 evil men hes killed . along the way we got seriously unbelievable guitar work (thx ray n frnk), that classic Prep School Emo Bop, the one where mikey dies in ww2, a song thats kinda about gerards grandma who knows, and a song about, ah... prison. seriously. this album is excellent

This album still sparks the same emotions as it did when I was a teenager, its not my favorite album of theirs but it still holds its place.

First off, this album is so expressive and great I cannot say a bad thing about it. MCR totally rocks it out and Gerards voice is so expressive with every lyric of every track. I have the other albums including the newer stuff, but so far this one is my definate pick out of all MCRs recordings. I love that they included the lyrics also as this is an important part of music to me. I can listen to this album over and over and it never gets old and I dont push skip. Completely worth the purchase!!!!!

These guys are some of the more intelligent and talented bands in the emo scene. The vocalist of this band isnt imitating anyone, he is just really good at what he does. This was their breakout album and for good reason.

4 stars because I ordered this album and the black parade album and appears that its been sent to the wrong facility #lovely . I love MCR but its sad they had to break up the band. All in all, still nice for the autorip function is why I love Amazon!

Ive been in love with this album for years, and I was so happy today when my very own copy of it arrived in the mail. I listened to the whole thing to verify that the CD is in good condition and it is. The case came damaged though; the front cover doesnt stay on. I hope the CD doesnt get wrecked if the cover comes off while the case is in a bag or something.
