> 24 hourMy 3yo is afraid of the beep-beep (smoke detector) in his room. Backstory: When he was two there was a wildfire near our home that caused us to evacuate and all the smoke detectors were going off. It was traumatic for him and he has been afraid of smoke detectors ever since. Well, he is scared that while he is sleeping the beep-beep will go off and it will be very loud and hurt his ears. Enter My Happy Tot. He freaking loves these things. They are easy enough for him to put on himself. If he is scared, he puts them on and goodbye fear. He actually wears them all the time. Though I think that is partly so he has an excuse to not listen I cant hear you mommy... We used them at a firework show last weekend and he handled the loud booms like a boss. Highly recommend them!

> 24 hourI keep these in my little guys diaper bag and pull them out when it gets loud ! For example we had a family birthday dinner at a hibachi grill and all the banging was getting to him. Put the headphones on and he was back to his normal chill self . Family game night gets loud with our family ... he fell asleep with them on !! I know it doesn’t completely cancel the noise but it definitely reduces it big time ! He’s 4 months and they fit great. He will be able to wear these for awhile, and so far they don’t bother him .

> 24 hourI bought 2 of these before, unfortunately I broke 1 pair on 4th of July watching fireworks. The head band is plastic and my kid asked me to stretch them out as they were a little tight for him. He has a smaller head than my other kid, but, as I stretched and tried to work the plastic, it snapped. Weve used these for various activities like monster truck rallies and such. Theyve always used and enjoyed them. Highly recommend. For reference my kids are 2 and 4yrs old, and both will wear these.

> 24 hourNot a very strong noise-muffling effect. On one hand, baby is still afraid of the blender and vacuum wearing these, even when in the next room. On the other hand, he successfully sat through a parade with bagpipes without getting upset. So they do have their uses, especially for the price!

> 24 hourThese were a great buy. We used them for 4th of July and my baby loved them. He ended up wearing them most of the day because they also helped with the loud music. We now carry them anytime we go out and theres live music or sports on tv.

> 24 hourMy son wont wear these. I was crossing my fingers that he would accept them since others had said they were so comfortable. He refuses to keep them on even for a few seconds, even while attending events with loud noise. Im hoping that will change, and I know this is an individual preference of his. Just know that comfort and the experience of putting them on during a loud event will not change a one year olds mind. Also, the headphones reduce noise but do not cancel noise. I can still hear people talking when putting them on myself (and yes the cover of the ear piece covers my ears) As long as you understand this, there shouldnt be any problem with buying them. I actually think its probably good since your child can still hear you at some level with them on. Especially when youre in a big open public space. Even with the complaint I have with them, I gave them 4 stars because they are a good product. They are well made and I can tell that they wouldnt hurt to have on for a few hours. Hopefully with time, I can acclimate him to wearing them, so the purchase isnt a waste of money. Id still recommend them to other Moms.

> 24 hourWe got these for our 3 month old daughter so that she can come to my husbands improv shows, along with various other noisy activities. I was worried the first time the audience got really loud, but my baby didnt startle once the entire show! She had a bit of a hard time holding her head up while they were on, but that was an easy enough fix. Good product!

> 24 hourSo far so good, I have only put them momentarily twice on my daughter. She did not seem to mind them, she was fine with them. When I took them off they left a bit of a mark but no big deal. Not sure about the noise canceling, did not try them myself, but as long as she hears a bit less the airplane engine and feels less of the pressure, I am happy. I will update after we travel.
