MyInvoices & Estimates Deluxe

Got this for my husbands part time business. It was confusing to set up and Im not sure if I did it right but Im using it. Once I set up an invoice, I was unable to change it. I am making it work for me, hopefully someone else would have better luck.

Easy to set up. Still trying to figure out how to customize from a selected template.

This program sucks! I downloaded it and once I tried to open the programs... A message displayed stating that the IP address and email is no longer valid... I couldnt utilize the programs at all due to this

May be the best selling, but, NOT the best to use! Terrible, uninstalled and threw it in the trash.

I have MyInvoices and Estimates Deluxe 10. I have spent 3 days trying to figure out why my invoice register shows all invoices but about 10 of them have been paid but do not show they have been paid. Also when reporting sales tax to the state and pulling up quarterly sales, about 25 of the invoices are missing since January 2014 throughout the year that I had not seen! I am now having to go through and hand calculate invoices because they were never in the quarterly breakdown at all! This is a crap program!!!! No support - no help!!!!

I use to keep track of tenants paying rent, electricity and water etc..

I recently started a small business, sole proprietor, and a friend who does the same thing recommended this program. I still have not been able to generate an invoice with it now a month later. I simply cannot figure this out. In my defense, I am a very computer literate person, but not so much the Word, Excel type programs, so I feel sure that if I had more knowledge of those types of programs, I might be able to figure this out. But Im not willing to sit down and read the thick manual and slog through the process. I depend on myself being able to intuitively do this stuff, and this program is not intuitive. So I may end up not using it, sadly. And if it truly does what it purports to do, it should be a great tool. Oh, well. Such is life.

This barely counts as software. It doesnt have any of the simple features that professional software designers know to put in their software. Youre better off just using Excel spreadsheets. Im not even kidding. Ive opened a support ticket with this people regarding database conversion errors between versions every month since January. Not only do they never respond, after a time, my tickets just disappear from their website, like they were never opened in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous. Amazon, why do you even sell this s*** project? Get this scam crap off of here!

I have used MyInvoices and Estimates for over 10 years. Much earlier versions were simple and easy to work (why I continued to upgrade). This newest version 10 deluxe (which I use) is a disaster in waiting. The program, once installed and if working properly, is great and appears to be doing what it was intended. However, as time progresses and your database fills, problems will inevitably develop hidden without your knowledge waiting for that time you need to run a report for the boss or extract specific data. Then, out of nowhere comes the dreaded unhandled exception has occurred . Good luck trying to fix the issue. The program is so complex, because it does so much, that trying to fix a problem is virtually impossible. So now you have thousands of records in your database, this database somehow gets corrupted. HOW? Avanquest did not write in any diagnostics to aid or assist if anything is amiss or even let you know with a warning when backing up that something might be wrong with the file. They have not upgraded or offered any patch for the past 2 years I have owned this deluxe version. I would not recommend this program.
