I have used numerous different thermal pastes over the past 20 or so years, but none of them have been superior to Arctic Silver 5 in terms of heat reduction, spread-ability, and longevity. The included spreader works well for those who use that method of application.

Had major issues with processor running hotter than the kitchen at the local bodega (up to 115c (!)). Pulled heat sink off & found out factory paste was all dried/hardened like cheese on a burnt pizza. Cleaned it off and applied this crazy silver jazz and...viola! CPU temps were peaking at 85c, running temps at ~70c. Thanks Artic Silver!!

Definitely one of the best thermal pastes on the market. You dont need to apply a lot, so it will last you a long time! The spreader makes it perfect to get just the right amount to cover the dye w/out having any spill over the sides. Usually a pea-sized drop down center is most common for most chips, however, with the help of this spreader you can make sure you cover the entire surface area with a thin film of paste.

La pasta termica que trae mi laptop por defecto ya estaba endurecida y por tanto Mi laptop estaba sufriendo de apagones bruscos justo cuando estaba haciendo algo. Compre este producto para solucionar el problema, y efectivamente no he vuelto a sufrir de apagones. Antes de usar el producto el chasis de mi laptop tambien se calentaba. Con este producto, esos calentones son cosas del pasado. Trae una paletita para esparcir facilmente el producto. Este producto lo recomiendo 100%

Fast shipping great product

Not much to say, it works. However there is no need for the spread as using the pressure of the heat sink itself is the best way to spread (according to lots of people on youtube at least). This was only my 2nd time ever applying thermal paste and it went off without a hitch. Is this the best thermal paste? No idea. Could you go cheaper and it still be just as good? No idea. I knew this was a name brand and didnt want to take any chances given the $2 difference.
