Worst buy ever…really disappointed since I bought several sets of these as graduation gifts. Found out today that at least two of the sets I bought had broken umbrellas (bent metal pieces keeping it from fully opening). Can’t even return since it’s outside of the window now. Terribly disappointed! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I ordered this umbrella to use for when I travel. Being that it is a Nautica brand umbrella I expected it to be good quality. As expected this umbrella is made using very good materials and excellent construction. The black fabric used to cover the umbrella is thick enough to last for several years and the stitching is very well done. The handle and frame of the umbrella is made of plastic and metal. The handle is sturdy and solid. The metal frame of the umbrella is also well-made ensuring error-free Function for what should be more than several years. While it isn’t as compact as some other cheaper umbrellas it is small enough to easily take a long on my travels.I am very happy with this Nautica umbrella.

Dont waste your time. Umbrella broke the first time I tried to open it.

This umbrella is not going to get you through any strong winds. It is a good umbrella for little rain with little to no wind. It is lightweight. I like the simplistic look of it and the handle with the whole allowing for easy carry but again this is not the umbrella for a rainstorm

So what can I say? This umbrella is fairly sturdy and the automatic mechanism for opening and closing is quite fantastic... The frame of the umbrella is sturdy as well. However, it is a little heavy for an umbrella if weight is an issue. Its definitely a bargain at ~$17 and you should buy one! My only two gripes are that the wrist strap is a little cheap feeling and the AmazonBasics logo on the velcro strap is not pleasant to look at... I love AmazonBasics products, they are some of the best bargain-to-quality products, but that logo is hideous. Anyway, you can easily remove the logo on the velcro strap by carefully getting rid of the thread that attaches to it, and BAM you got yourself one fine looking umbrella.

Don’t expect these thing la to handle strong winds or completely cover two people, but they will keep you dry if you’re alone and it’s not too windy! Plus they are pretty compact and look nice enough.

This umbrella looks nice and appeared well made till it is opened. The shaft is very loose at the joints. The umbrella wobbles and I am not confident it will survive when it is needed on rainy days with moderate to strong winds.
