> 3 dayThis review is for “Portable Neck Fan, 4000 mAh Battery Operated”. This fan puts out plenty of air, even on the lowest setting. I’m very sensitive to things around my neck, but this is comfortable enough that I can wear it. So far, I’ve only used it inside and the lowest setting has been fine. I’m hoping it will work well when I’m outside gardening – I really like that it’s hands-free. I’m a heat wimp and this neck fan should help (and help to keep insects away from my face). It feels sturdy enough to use when moving around. It took about 4 hours to charge it fully. I’m confused about the battery capacity. The product title says 4000 mAh but the description says 5200 mAh. A battery life indicator would be nice. It has one button which cycles through the 3 speeds and then off. I’d prefer it if a long press turned it off rather than having to cycle through all the speeds. I wouldn’t call this fan low-noise, especially at the higher speeds, but it’s not too loud. It’s also not “ultra-light”. It’s not super heavy but the battery adds some weight. The price point is reasonable when compared to similar products.

Greater than one weekSo I have multiple neck fans and found that this was just ok when it came to the amount of air it kicks out and is not flexible. At the same time, I like that it’s not noisy, I like that the fan is comfortable and rechargeable. It looks nice and it’s overall a nice product!

> 3 dayThis is a nice portable neck fan. It looks like headphones, just a little smaller. On your neck, it is pretty lightweight, although I wish it were even lighter and slightly smaller. However, being any lighter, it might not be as effective. The fan has 3 speeds and is somewhat noisy. Not too bad though, unless youre on the highest fan setting. It keeps you pretty cool. The only thing I worry about is getting this damp from sweat, like from a hike, or being out in the hot sun for a long period of time. Im not sure if it would be a good idea to have electronics exposed to heat for that long. For now, I use this on warmer days where I am both in the sun and in the shade. Im not sure if I would venture to take this on a longer hike.

Greater than one weekI got this on a whim because Im going to a convention which is reportedly very hot inside, and I think its going to be very helpful. Its easy to turn on and off, and has 3 speeds. The air movement is great, even though the highest setting is on the loud side.

> 3 dayGreat for times when the ambient temper is hot and there’s not a breeze anywhere to be found. Perfect for outdoor sporting events, or just walking around, ie. Amusement parks, flea markets or just waiting on line under the sun. Unlike other handheld fans/squirt bottles, no hands required. This is a light weight fan that sits comfortably on your collar bone - it looks very similar to over the ear headphones. The air is sucked in via the two oval shape intakes in the front, near the chin and then blown out via the 18 vents located around the base of the neck. Operation is very simply, there is one button on the outside of the right intake fan. It controls the power and the fan speed with each incremental press will advance the cooling speed (max. 3x) before powering off. At low speed (setting #1), the sound is nearly noticeable and at the high end (setting #3), the wind noise is loud enough to make communicating on the phone a somewhat difficult. The fan can accommodate a Xtra-Large sized neck before “squeezing” pass the neck when putting it on will risk damaging the fan.

> 3 dayThe most important thing about a neck fan is does it keep you cool? Yes, this does the job and does it well. I live in a desert climate, that means dry heat. This fan is perfect for dry heat. I can cool off on a lower fan setting because of the low humidity. The louder fan noise for the higher speeds is to be expected but annoying because this set right below the ears but overall, I think Im set for Utahs searing summer with this neck fan. I should also mention that Im a teacher who has playground duty from time to time. I plan on wearing this outside on the hot days. Maybe Ill start a new fashion trend with the kids.

Greater than one weekThis product wraps around your neck comfortably and directs air upward to cool your neck and head. I purchased the purple model which has nice copper accents on each end. The product appears to be well constructed and pleasing in appearance. The product comes with a USB-C to USB a cable to charge the neck fan. The USB-C end of the cable plugs into the neck fan, and the USB-A end of the cable plugs into a USB-A port on a laptop to charge, or a USB-A power adapter like for a smart phone that is not included. Initially, it took me several hours to charge the neck fans built-in 4000 mAh rechargeable battery. The battery is supposed to last 5 to 16 hours before recharging is required. I did not validate this claim. To operate the unit, a single power button is used. Pressing the power button initially turns the unit on. Subsequent button presses change the fan speed from low to medium to high. A fourth press turns the unit off. I was quite pleased with the volume of air being pushed by this portable, bladeless device. While operating, the unit is reasonably quiet, but as you move the fan speed up to High the fan noise might be noticeable by others, especially in a library or other quiet setting. The product weighs 12 ounces, and I personally found it comfortable while wearing it. However, I had a couple female friends try it on and they felt it might feel heavy after walking a long distance. Your opinion of the weight will vary, so just be aware. My only two drawbacks about the product are: 1) a USB-A power adapter was not included and 2) I wish there was a separate on/off switch instead of using the power switch for everything. I easily pressed the power switch when placing the product inside a backpack, turning it on. That said, I think the product as well designed, is attractive to wear, and functions as advertised. I would recommend it. Now if the manufacturer could just build something to fit inside my Tilley hat…
