> 3 dayI was hoping this would discourage the cats pawing at the water bowl, but i think the water level is still hard for them to see in this bowl so they do it anyway even though its much higher—not too high for paws. On the bright side it does not slide around easy and so there is less spillage from that so thats cool! Its also pretty cute and not tacky like a lot of pet stuff. And at least I ruled out whisker discomfort being a factor in the pawing because it definitely isnt here.

Greater than one weekMy cat is a big boy as one of the 2nd largest domestic cat breeds. His smaller, lower bowl was just not cutting it since he needed to eat crouched down. This bowl is clean with a simple but classic design and non-skid bottom. My cat took to it right away which Im grateful for since he declined eating off a plate before. Im very pleased with this item.

> 3 dayMy cats love it! It’s a good height and easy to clean. The ceramic material is great as I try to avoid plastics. Anything my picky cats love, I am 100% happy with!

> 3 dayThis is my 6th bowl / dish - and I really think that my cats eat better, and eat everything in a reasonable time frame. With the bowls on the floor, they left a lot more behind and didnt come back to finish. All my cats have one now. The babies have smaller bowls; the bigger guys have this XL bowls PROs: They clean very easily, a quick soak in hot water will lift up anything stuck. Wet food does not get stuck along the bottom edges of the bowl, as can happen with regular bowls. Not super heavy. But sturdy; I have dropped these on a thick kitchen floor matt and they didnt even crack. Stack neatly on their side in a dish drainer. The XL bowls have a non skid rubber ring on the bottom of the bowl so it doesnt slide around. Ring is removable for easy drying. CON: At some point you are bound to knock the bowl on the counter, sink, floor; because it is ceramic it will chip or break. In over a year of using 5 of these, I have broken only one so bad it needed replacement (smacked into the edge of the sink on the granite). Some of the bowls have chips to the base, but not bad enough to worry about.

Greater than one weekI bought two for my young cats. They loved them and so did I, but one feisty little cat knocked it over (on the floor) and it shattered into pieces. Very sad. Maybe these porcelain bowls are ok for older, calmer pets. But I recommend buying stainless steel.

> 3 dayMy elderly cats love these dishes. They are the perfect comfortable height for them to sit at and eat without having to bend low. The dishes have a shallow bowl that is fairly large so they can easily reach all their food without hitting their whiskers on the bowl, and there is no problem with wet food scooting off the bowl. I also like the fact that these dishes are very stable, dont wobble, and have a vinyl rim at the bottom that helps the base stay put. I personally like the fact that they are easy to clean, and since they are ceramic, they are healthier for my cats. Since we started using these dishes, my cats have stopped having digestion problems because they are eating at a better angle for swallowing. I can easily recommend these cat dishes. The design is attractive and there is a little bit of cute ornamentation. All three of us are happy with them.

22-11-2024My older kitty was recently diagnosed with arthritis in his lower back and hips. This product is like it was custom made for an older cat with that sort of problem. He can now sit up and enjoy his meals. I would ask the cat to make a comment too but hes busy eating;) Thank you for designing such a functional and yet adorably cute item!

Greater than one weekI ordered the Tall Extra Wide raised cat food bowl for my cat and wasnt sure he would use it. You know how cats hate change in their life? Well, hes 23 lbs and taller than our other 3 cats. Watching him eat on dishes flat on the floor was a very uncomfortable position for him. Surprise!! I set the dish up right away with his food in it, and he didnt even hesitate to eat. Hes eating more of his food than before, and seems so much happier. He also has very long whiskers, and the Extra Wide bowl is flatter than the other bowls they sell. The bowl works very well to accommodate his long whiskers and height. And, the food doesnt get pushed out of the bowl at all. There has been no problem at all with his food staying in the middle of his bowl. I also got him a tall deep bowl for his water. Now he doesnt have to lay down in order to drink his water. These tall bowls are amazing, so if youre unsure about it....dont be....your cats will thank you. No more whisker fatigue and so much healthier for them.

Greater than one weekHeard it was better to elevate your cats food dish for digestion. So many to choose from! Took a chance on the Necoichi dish. SO glad I did! Why? It was the best height, one piece ceramic construction, the bowl area was nice and wide and tilted. The bowl edge had a nice raised rim to keep food in the dish. The bottom had a silicone rubber ring (removable for cleaning) to prevent the dish from sliding across the floor. A cute decorative print going from bottom of unit up and around to the top edge of the bowl on the outside. A cat face in the center of the bowl. I’m planning to get another for wet food. We feed both wet and dry. In my opinion, this is the perfect size all around for any cat breed. It would work for kittens just starting to eat wet and kibble. Prevents them from walking, sitting, or stepping into their food dish.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these wide raised bowls along with the raised water bowl. They were nicely packaged and arrived quickly. No damage or imperfections. I previously had a set of three bowls that were set in a wooden pet bowl holder. Aside from the fact that it had broken, the back of it was too high for me to open my cabinet doors - my fault for initially not measuring. It also had a solid flat bottom and when water would spill, it would collect underneath the wood. These bowls are about 4 inches high and as you can see from the photos, my kitties took to them immediately. These are photos of their first feeding. Our Ragdoll kitty on the left weighs 16 pounds and is six years old. Our Siamese mix on the right weighs 11 pounds, 14 years old and undergoing chemo. The height of the bowls seem to be a good fit for each of them. Their whiskers do not touch the sides of the bowls that I can see, so no whisker fatigue. The wide food bowls easily hold a 3 ounce can of wet food. I imagine they would also easily hold a 5 ounce can. Even though they are somewhat flat, there seems to be no spillover of food onto the floor. The water bowl holds a more than sufficient amount of water for my two cats. The measuring lines inside the water bowl are convenient to keep track of water consumed. All are easy to clean and feel sturdy. I am very pleased with the purchase and would purchase them again. I can also open my cabinet doors without having to move the bowls. Highly recommend.
