Necoichi Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Bowl (Cat)

> 3 dayMy kitty loves her bowl. She doesn’t have to crouch or bend her neck so far to eat out of her bowl. The other one she had was raised also, but not enough. The only problem I have is that the food spills out easily when she eats. I think it would help if the bottom lip of the bowl is a little higher.

> 3 dayI have four of these and have bought them as gifts. One of them came with rubber on the bottom (well they all did) that was easy to take off, one of them that I got the rubber was stuck in some spots and its impossible to remove the debris from it. Knowing I have so many of them I know this was just a fluke, but when I contacted the company after they sent me an email asking how the product was they never got back to me which I thought was weird. I called Amazon and they refunded me for the one bowl with issues. I just thought it was strange the company was MIA after sending an email. The bowl itself is great. One of my cats was throwing up after each meal and i thought it was stomach sensitivity but really she just needed to eat higher up. No longer has that problem and Ive since bought these bowls for all my cats just to be safe. They fit a 3oz can of wet food plus 1oz water added.

> 3 dayThis is my 6th bowl / dish - and I really think that my cats eat better, and eat everything in a reasonable time frame. With the bowls on the floor, they left a lot more behind and didnt come back to finish. All my cats have one now. The babies have smaller bowls; the bigger guys have this XL bowls PROs: They clean very easily, a quick soak in hot water will lift up anything stuck. Wet food does not get stuck along the bottom edges of the bowl, as can happen with regular bowls. Not super heavy. But sturdy; I have dropped these on a thick kitchen floor matt and they didnt even crack. Stack neatly on their side in a dish drainer. The XL bowls have a non skid rubber ring on the bottom of the bowl so it doesnt slide around. Ring is removable for easy drying. CON: At some point you are bound to knock the bowl on the counter, sink, floor; because it is ceramic it will chip or break. In over a year of using 5 of these, I have broken only one so bad it needed replacement (smacked into the edge of the sink on the granite). Some of the bowls have chips to the base, but not bad enough to worry about.

> 3 dayThese bowls have been a big hit with all five of my cats. It’s very sturdy despite the added height. the wide mouth / titled angle of the bowl helps keep messes contained.

> 3 dayMy elderly cats love these dishes. They are the perfect comfortable height for them to sit at and eat without having to bend low. The dishes have a shallow bowl that is fairly large so they can easily reach all their food without hitting their whiskers on the bowl, and there is no problem with wet food scooting off the bowl. I also like the fact that these dishes are very stable, dont wobble, and have a vinyl rim at the bottom that helps the base stay put. I personally like the fact that they are easy to clean, and since they are ceramic, they are healthier for my cats. Since we started using these dishes, my cats have stopped having digestion problems because they are eating at a better angle for swallowing. I can easily recommend these cat dishes. The design is attractive and there is a little bit of cute ornamentation. All three of us are happy with them.

> 3 dayI love everything about these raised bowls. More importantly, my cats clearly love them. It bothered me seeing them hunched over while they ate. Additionally, this hot summer brought in ants, who were getting in their floor food bowls. It didn’t help that two of my cats liked to pull the food out and eat kibble off the floor. It was messy, and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t keep the ants from coming back. Baking soda worked well, but I needed a better solution. These raised bowls are the perfect solution. My cats eat with their heads raised. There’s a nice lip that keeps the kibble in the bowl; no more messy eaters. I haven’t seen one ant since I started using these bowls. I feel that I can control food portions better also, which is a plus. 4 cats and 4 bowls. These bowls are beautifully made. Their heavy porcelain and very easy to clean. It’s convenient to be able to warm wet food for each cat as well; just remember to remove the rubber gasket before microwaving. These bowls are shallow (perfect for cats) and not deep enough for water. My cats have a fountain, but this company makes a sharp looking raised water bowl. I highly recommend and wish I hadnt waited this long to buy them

> 3 dayMy cat loves this bowl. its aesthetically pleasing and its got rubber on the bottom so it doesn’t slide along the table top. And the bowl is shallow enough that her whiskers don’t get fatigued when she eats. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayI bought raised bowl because I read that cats throw up less when they don’t have to lean over to eat. I think he throws up less. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the ceramic surface for some reason holds on to dried bits and you have to really scrub to make it release teeny bits that hang on. It seems smooth, but must have microscopic texture. Also I love the silicone band on the bottom that keeps the bowl from sliding on the floor, but it comes off when you are cleaning it and is weird to put back on correctly. But I still like it. And it’s cute.
