Excellent cordless LED underhood light with no cables to run and get tangled up with. It supplements my Snap On since my garage lighting is terrible like working in a cave.

Purchased this light bar to work on vehicles mainly and other small uses here and there. After a year and a half of usage it finally died. Wont turn on wont charge or anything, was thinking about dissecting it and see if the battery is replaceable but as of right now it is rendered useless. Great light and bright enough to give you great view of everything at night. 3 stars for its short life span.

great lite and way bright

First of all, I love this light. Its super bright, the battery lasts a really long time and the light housing itself appears to be very durable. The mount, with the springy flexible ends needs improvement. One end of my mount broke within the first two weeks of using it and now it wont hang on any hood or car thats small. This is a problem for me since most of the vehicles I work on are smaller sportier cars. I reached out to get a replacement but havent heard back from anyone. Hopefully someone sees this review and will contact me. Id love to get a replacement mount for this and not have to buy an entirely new unit.

This is the best cordless light Ive used to date. The magnets are strong and work well, the telescoping mount seems to work well and the light is plenty bright. Its also taken a couple hits and fallen on the floor a few times already and still works as good as new.

Mainly use it for the inside of the cars when detailing, fits on most cars expect the really small narrow cars. Overall great product and customer service, it has a pretty quick charge time, bright, and learned that the battery last a super long time on the lower setting while still providing enough light to see clearly.

I guess the old saying is correct, you get what you pay for. Ordered this light from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Description stated, used - like new. When product arrived light and under hood bracket were in the box along with the instruction page. However the brackets to mount the light bar to the under hood bracket nor the magnetic clips were in the box. That is not a big deal, I think I can rig something up to mount the light to the under hood bracket. The biggest issue is THERE IS NO BATTERY CHARGER IN THE BOX!!! Light is partially charged now and seems to be plenty bright but that will not last forever. Come on Amazon. If somebody returns something please verify all parts are in the box before you resell it. I think I will keep it and see if I can source an inexpensive option for charging it.

Ive bought tons of the Neiko led lights over the years because of the overall value of their product, and these are one of the best all around cordless lights around. Lets start with the fact that an adjustable brightness UV array is included with this light. It will make any UV dye glow with maximum intensity on the brightest setting, while the lower intensities allows fine tuning the amount of UV for the situation. This was bright enough to show a/c dye in a sunlit work bay, in which only a plug in UV light was the only option, now this will be what I grab for that purpose. The main light is plenty bright, with five levels of adjustment. On the brightest setting, its brighter then any other Neiko light I have used. I typically use the normal setting or next highest setting as the battery life will last around 2 - 2.5 hours on highest setting. On the normal setting it last 4-5 hours. on the lower settings it will last more then an 8 hour work day which is great. The redesigned case and red rubber grip is a nice addition. The older lights were easy to forget under hood especially if the battery ran dead as they had no other color but black on the handle. The new lights are more visible when off. They also integrated the magnets into the case and built a nice hook unto the top of the unit, a great improvement over the prior clip on hooks and magnets. They also have a blue 3 light charge indicator on the back of the unit that is always light when the light is on. The only negative with this light package is the lack of a wall wart to plug the light into for charging. They do supply the new USB-C cable. Used the older wall warts from lost lights so this was not a hinderance for me. Any 5 volt wall wart will work. All in all I am very satisfied with the performance and durability of this new design in a professional automotive shop setting and would recommend them to anyone!
