I was using my product at work, doing a tuneup on a 1500 truck. When I accidentally bumped my head on it from lifting my body, I knocked it down and broke a clip making it unusable on the hood mount

It is very bright and versatile but battery life is not long lasting

I bought this light two years ago. Originally I was quite impressed with the quality of the piece and the LEDs are very bright. It served me well. Unfortunately, this light died about a week ago. It can only stay on while plugged in. All of the components are sealed so there is no replacing the batteries of this unit. I contacted Neiko customer support and they basically scoffed at me and said that the fixture is two years old, as if that was a long time, and they just expected me to buy a whole new unit after two years. Originally I was thrilled with this product, but as time goes on it is clear that this product cannot be repaired or serviced and is completely disposable. Id recommend looking for products that can be repaired/serviced and a company that is willing to stand behind their products for more than 6 months.

The light holder does not hold on the hood. It rolls with the weight of the light and falls off.

Perfect for working on cars in hard to see places!

Works good in all perspectives only problem i had was after a while having it , it started to get water inside it and humidity and its not very good anymore
