It is very clean and sharp looking, only flaw is it seems to eat away at the batteries on display mode so switch it off after you are done showing it or displaying it to save yourself on batteries like myself.

This unit is a really nice piece for any Halo fan. There are touch sensors that allow the unit to light up when your fingers are on the handle/trigger. Theyve got fine details down, for example, when firing the nerf bullets, as you run low, the needles LED lights diminish, just like in the game. It comes with a display stand. It takes 6 AA batteries, which do not come with the unit. This was definitely biased towards right-handed folks; the Nerf brand logo and product warning lettering are facing the left side, so it remains hidden from view when held on right side. The unit has 3 modes, display mode and ON and OFF. Display mode is allows the unit to be on for 2 hours with touch sensors triggering the LED lights. Overall, very impressed with the Nerf brand for pulling this one off.

Really cool toy Needler. Works really well. Also has a two hour ambient light display mode. Just touch the pad and it will light up for display.

If there were two cornerstones of my life growing up, it was Nerf blasters and Halo. One of my longtime childhood fantasies was a Nerf Needler. Of all the crazy sci-fi weapons we wished we could have as a foam firing toys, the infamous bringer of pink mist was my pick. Ultimately it never happened during that time (BOOM Cos Needler was fun, but definitely didnt nail the looks), and eventually I grew out of the hobby scene in general. Yet, when I found out Hasbro was going to make a game-accurate, functioning replica of the Needler, I was chomping at the bit to get it. I think they knocked it out of the park. The blaster itself looks fantastic. Its almost identical in appearance to the Needler from Halo: Reach through Infinite. Almost all of the fine details are visible. The blaster itself is weighty and feels very sturdy. Whats nice is that all the protruding elements of the gun, like the fins on the bottom and the needles themselves are made of a flexible material so they wont break if you bump into them or drop the blaster. The lighting effects are also great looking. The LEDs are bright and the blaster has a neat feature of sequentially turning off the needles as you fire off darts, mimicking the games behavior. You reload the needles by flipping open and shut the cylinder door on the left side of the blaster. It also shoots surprisingly well, better than Id expect for a blaster that seemingly values looks over performance. Its a fully automatic electric plunger with a 10-dart cylinder, similar to the old Dart Tag Speedswarm. This was a pleasant surprise considering most new Nerf blasters have totally ditched this type of firing mechanism for flywheels. Im not going to bother range testing it, but it fires hard and darts fly out to ranges that Id expect of most new Elite type blasters. It isnt the most consistent or accurate though, but thats to be expected of a blaster firing Elite darts out of barrels this short. Heavier darts and Id say you can stay on target pretty well with this thing. I do have some minor gripes though. Even though the colors are dead on, I wish they gave the gun a more metallic sheen like it has in game. Its also an ergonomic nightmare. The grip is horrid and its a pain to reload thanks to the giant muzzle that covers most of the cylinder. That said, its worth noting that this blaster basically eschews all practically in favor of being as accurate to the game model as realistically possible. Its not something youre going to want to play a round of HvZ with (or whatever people play these days). Its also a bit expensive, but I guess if you really want this thing then the price shouldnt be too big of an issue. Overall Im really happy with this Needler. Its definitely a childhood dream come true and Im glad its as good as it is.

The Nerf LMTD Halo Needler blaster captures the look of the blaster from the Halo video game franchise! Imagine yourself as one of the Banished or Covenant and get ready to battle the UNSC! This Nerf dart blaster recreates the blaster"s distinctive design with flexible needles that light up when you grip the handle! Fire the darts and watch the needles go dark to simulate how they launch from the blaster in the game. Other light-up accents add to the exciting visual presentation. This fully motorized blaster unleashes 10 darts in a row from the rotating, 10-dart drum. Includes 10 Nerf Elite foam darts. Switch to display mode to illuminate the blaster and showcase it on the included stand. Includes a game card with in-game content in the Halo Infinite game.* Eyewear recommended (not included). Requires 6x AA 1.5v alkaline batteries (not included).
