The system works after you get an install. There are NO instructions except get our app on your phone. 1. What if you dont have a phone? 2. The app wont run unless the system IS ALREADY UP and RUNNING. There is no clue what color the led indicator is supposed to be There is no way to setup a network without the app I was able to get the system running by plugging my laptop into my old wifi router and get to the netgear website. At the bottom of the page on netgear was a little text link how to setup orbi on a pc - thank god THIS IS A WIFI ROUTER for PC - How about a link to the setup instructions instead of a PHONE APP -- Dont buy this unless you are ready for a 3 day nightmare install done by feeling for sharp edged things in the dark

Buenas tardes, desde ayer que recibi el producto, lo instale y solo funciona el router y un nodulo. 2 siempre están en rojo y los he desconectado he buscado asesoria en internet en Netgear pero entre los casos que ellos proponen no esta que no funcionen 2 de las cajitas, que puedo hacer?

Item worked for a few mths, then started dropping the signal! Constantly having to reboot it! This product is an epic failure, and not worth the $$$ that it cost to purchase it! You should refund every customer money who purchased this bad product! Almost $200.00 down the drain!

We bought this product for a three level, 2500 hundred square feet house with an attached garage with an office over the garage. We were hoping to have a good Internet signal throughout our home... To our surprise, we not only have great Internet throughout our house...we also have great Internet reception on most of our one acre lot. I highly recommend this product. We did have a slight problem a couple days after first hooking this up and we were having a hard time signing into the Internet. We went to their troubleshooting page which told us how to reset the system which took a few seconds and we have had great service ever since. We have been using this system with a Netgear Nighthawk and an antenna. We live in a rural area about two and a half miles from an AT&T tower and our experience has been great.

2 of the 4 did not work and since its past the 90 day warranty time i am out of luck..Dont buy this

Used different wifi routers this one has been the best so far... I have signal everywhere in my house and outside in my yard... tech support was quick and supportive... great product

This product was extremely easy to install and worked beyond my wildest expectations. I would suggest it for everyone, and will purchase one for my other home location. Did not even need to contact tech support.

Do not under any circumstances buy this. Mine worked for 5 months, then crashed every 15 minutes. I finally got a hold of support and they told me Id have to pay ANOTHER $150 to have technician call me and diagnose my problems. So even though I followed everything explained in their user community, could define each step it failed in, Netgear will not give me new hardware (under warranty) unless I pay their ransom. Dont buy. Netgear is awful.

I purchased this Netgear Orbi whole house mesh Wifi system in June of 2020. I didnt realize that it was not auto updating the firmware, but noticed it on my own after several firmware updates had passed. After hours of work trying to update the firmware for both the router and the satellites, I noticed that I could not update the components through a wireless connection, it had to be done using an ethernet cable attached to the router. How do you do this on a totally wireless household? The only potential wired device I could use would be a desktop on the 2nd floor of my condo. I would have to completely tear the desktop down and move it to the basement to do this using an ethernet cable! I also did not realize how obsolete the product I purchased was until I installed it in my condo. Not very much fun for me. I suppose Ill have to trash this system and start over. Make sure when you purchase your whole house wireless system that you can update the firmware wirelessly!!!
