Hooks are as described. Might be perfect for your application. However, I was using them to hang various yard tools by the tool handles (using the friction of the handles) and the hook coating easily stripped off of the hooks, causing the tools to disengage (handles slipped through the hook) and fall.

Now the ladders, etc are neatly on the wall. The only problem that I found was after installing them and hanging stuff up, I want more!

I was able to hang a wide range of items in my garage (everything from a tile saw to an extension ladder, even my mom’s walker). Getting organized and having everything off the floor has been great!
