Cant say for certain if i like the product or not. I didnt realize that you absolutely have to use both usb-c ports on the back which is a problem for me because of my hard drive that goes there. It looks nice, but i have no idea how well it works as of right now. Have to find a AC adapter now. So just make sure youre willing to give up the ports on the ps5 if you buy this, or make sure you already have an AC adapter.

I bought this March 8, 2021 and it’s broken. Maybe that sounds like a while to people but I have used my PlayStation 5 less that 20 times so nothing has been messed with or used much. When I set the controller on the dock, which is slippery and the controller wants to fall off easily, the dock doesn’t do anything. If I unplug the power cord to the charging dock and plug it back in, it will light up for a second then stop. I guess I will have to buy another one, and it won’t be this one.

Matches the lighting scheme of the PS5 while it is on. Do note that since it connects via the 2 USB slots on the back of the console, it does need to be somewhere close to the console itself.

Bought it in August of 2021, and it worked alright, was very slow to charge. In March, it stopped working, and will not charge any controllers. For less than $10 more, you can get the official charging dock, which works perfectly.

I really liked the idea of this charger and it is nice to have it set up. It is limiting though in that it uses two plug-ins at the back of the playstation. This then prevents you from using an external hard-drive at the same time.

Spent my usual allotment of way too much time reading reviews of an item that really should be a quick on a whim purchase. What can I say? It charges my sons PS5 controllers quickly, was fairly inexpensive, and hes happy. That makes me happy.

Charger works great! It was a gift for my son, he said it was easy to install and the controllers are charging without any problems.

Does the job, but keep in mind it occupies 2 USB ports in order to fully function and charge remotes, and if using a ssd external drive you need to constantly swap out unless batteries are fully charged or playing with battery packs if running long gameplay.
