18-11-2024We’d been looking for a reasonably-priced projector for a while now. Overall, we’re pretty happy so far. High-level thoughts: - Picture is crisp and clear. The keystone adjustment is a simple rotary knob. Focus adjustment can be done from the front control panel or the included remote. I found it easier to dial in the focus with the control panel vs the remote. - There are no means to elevate or tilt the projector. You will have to MacGyver your own elevation and tilt system for your environment. - While you can use Bluetooth or a wired connection to a mobile device, there are limitations as to what can be played back on-screen. There’s some sort of DRM issue using certain iOS apps (D+, Netflix, etc) with a screen-mirroring connection. We found it best to move the Fire stick and plug it into the projector directly. Menu and picture setup were far better this way, too. - The included power cord is short. Plan on an extension cord, or use a longer power cord. - While it has built-in speakers, you may want to bring a BT speaker for maximum sound output. All that being said, the projector was very easy to set up and use. Haven’t spent more than a couple minutes focusing the projector, regardless of distance to wall. Bluetooth audio works well. Very happy with the simple controls, sharp picture, connectivity options. There are two HDMI inputs and two USB inputs. You can directly connect an android/iOS device, a usb stick with media on it, or anything with an HDMI port. The 1080p resolution scales well for a backyard movie night with the kiddos. There’s not really a ton to say about it, other than it functions well. Recommended.

> 3 dayWe wish we would have returned but missed the window. There is no way to brighten the coloring enough to see the dark parts of movies.

Greater than one weekThis is an excellent unit. I was surprised by how clear and sharp the images were. Even on a regular wall thats painted it just looks amazing. Its relatively user friendly. Plug it in, take off the lens cap, put batteries in the remote (2 AAAs) and hit the red power button. Setup menu comes up, and youre off. This was also easy to set up for wireless / screen mirroring. This is the main reason why I got this one. You have to set up this unit to see your wi-fi which is a little tedious putting in your password with that remote and menu, but, its a one time deal. It worked immediately and flawlessly with my phone and Im just super happy with it. Low noise too - and it comes with an extra air filter! Love it!

> 3 dayAs seen on YouTube and reviews on Amazon, it appeared to be a pretty good projector, I was very excited to set this up, not to mention I already brought accessories to go with the projector, very happy to receive it and set this up, and realized I got a damaged one. WHY ME! What luck. I’m trying to get a projector for a movie night for my grandson’s birthday. I want to order another one , but I’m afraid I’ll end up in the same predicament.SMH ( I really believe that this brand projector is good, but I just didn’t get a chance to experience it because I was sent a damaged one)

> 3 dayI purchased the PJ20 this winter with the plan to use it for outdoor movie nights this summer. In the meantime, my 12 year old son has been playing with it and absolutely loves it. The quality of the image is great and it is very easy to use. My son has been hooking it up to his computer to it so he can play computer games from his bed. We are very happy with our purchase and cannot wait to use it for outdoor movie nights. It is a great projector for the price.

> 3 dayProduct review for Nexigo PJ20 Overall: At a price point of $250 I recommend this product. If you plan to buy a projector to use it for PowerPoint presentations with some associated videos, this projector is more than sufficient and at a much better price point than a true business projector. If you plan to use it for movies at home, the quality is good in a dimly lit room. The core functions of this projector are easy to use. Some of the more technical functions such as wi-fi mirroring are adequate but lacking from my experience with it. Picture quality: In a dimly lit to dark room, the picture quality is good. In a well-lit room, you will still have decent picture quality but there is an obvious degradation of sharpness and intensity. Fan noise: The fan is loud, even if you have the projector’s internal speaker to max you will still hear the fan in the background. If you plan to use it in a conference room for presentations, it not too concerning. If you plan to use the projector for home movies, I recommend external speakers to overpower the fan, otherwise, you will hear it whirling in the background. Audio volume: The internal speakers are adequate in a room about the size of a standard classroom. I would recommend external speakers for a large conference room. Focus: Setting the focus on the project is very easy. This can only be controlled by the remote but there are two dedicated focus buttons and achieving a clear picture requires little effort. Heat: The project emits a noticeable amount of heat. This can be felt from about 5 feet away from the projector on the side of the fan. Height adjuster: This is a manual height adjuster located on the bottom center of the projector that lifts the front part of the projector up about an inch. Outputs: There are 2 HDMI, 2 USB, 1 AV, and 1 audio output. Bluetooth: Can connect with Bluetooth speakers, earphone, soundbars but not with phones or computers. Wi-Fi Mirroring: The intended function of Wi-Fi mirroring is to allow you to share your device (phone or tablet) screen with the projector. Both devices must be connected to the same network for this function to work. I was able to use this function to display my pictures and videos stored in my album. But I could not airplay a YouTube video from my phone to the projector. The devices were able to connect and I got a successful audio connection but the video did not display.

> 3 dayThis projector is a good projector for the price. it has a clear picture and built in speak works great with a Fire TV stick. I have another smaller projector that I struggle to get to play sound when using the Fire Stick. This projector is the same size as a typical projector, if not looking for a small/mini projector then this would be a great projector.

> 3 dayThis is a nice upgrade to the Nexigo PJ10 projector. All the same features, but brighter and more vivid colors. The focus controls being electronic and built-in to the remote control was very handy! The only downside is there is no mounting screw on the bottom to use on a tripod, and this is probably due to the larger size and weight. As I have more time to use this projector more, I will share any additional feedback, but so far it has been a great projector!
