It does hold both digital and disc version of the ps5 console. It is a 1/8 inch metal and is pretty sturdy. The screws and anchor is the cheapest hardware you can use. I did NOT use the screws or anchors that came with it but I bought dependable hardware to mount the stand to the wall. The charger that came with it started out great and now does not work. Now when I place a dead remote on the charger it starts showing that it is charging then stops charging a few seconds later. So the charging station no longer works and it is only 6 weeks old. Update: {8-31-2022} I have came to find out after a few months of using this stand and charger that the controller needs to be near dead or dead before the charger will work. I have had zero problems with the stand it self. I have played 8+ hours on games and have not had any overheating problems becauseof the stand(the room stays around 74°F day and night).

The mount is a lot sturdier than I expected and the charger works great. I have no worries of this mount falling or not working as it should

It was fine until the charger port stopped charging my controller. It is the charger port because when i connected my controller directly to a usb it was charging it.

Dont have anything negative about the stand, really easy to set up and seems very sturdy. Does a perfect job

Only thing I would change about it is making it possible to charge the remote as well, but thats only me nitpicking. After all, I dont watch videos on my PS5 so I rarely ever use the remote. Would have been nice if there was a hook or something to hold a headset as well. Very easy to install, and the mount was incredibly sturdy, console doesnt shake at all.

Perfect mount for what I needed. I did have to drill to make some of the holes larger to fit the included hardware. Not a big deal though.

This wall mount for the PS5 is nearly invisible. Once installed and fully assembled, the PS5 takes center stage. The unit I received, needed some minor modification. The dividers that secure the charge station had undersized holes in the main mounting plate. Managing a proper sized drill bit (metal) removed paint and some material to allow the screws to pass and mount securely the dividers. Using the included mounting hardware, the unit securely found purchase onto the wall. Utilizing the included thumb screw and the vertical stand threaded receiver of the PS5, it isnt going anywhere from an accidental bump. Nowhere on the Wall mount is there an obstruction to the ports of the game console. This design works well for holding the PS5 in an optimal position to fully appreciate the style and function of the PlayStation 5.
