Original Sony charger is hard to find. This works for me and I like how it lights up to show your controllers are charging. Color scheme matches my PS5.

Bought this when I bought a 2nd controller, works perfectly fine. No issues charges quickly.

We have two of the Sony brand charging stations. I have two young dogs who love to rough house and occasionally knock our controllers off the charger. We quickly discovered a major flaw in Sonys product: if the controller is knocked off the charger at just the right angle, the little pins that pop up to charge the controller could get bent and stuck inside the mechanism. This happened to my wifes and in the process of trying to pull the pin back out, it just snapped off and the whole thing became useless.

First thing first is to make sure that you are getting the correct product. Nexigo has several chargers for the PS5 but this one got it almost perfectly right. The controllers fit almost perfectly on the unit, you dont have to place a special attachment to the usb-c port to make it fit, nor do you have to install the controller upside down and try to get it to slide perfectly into the adapter. This unit just works. The style of the unit fits in perfectly with the PS5 looks as if it could have been a product directly from Sony. The orange glow while charging fits in perfectly with the theme and the fact that it stops charging when fully charged is definitely a plus. The controllers seat very well although there was some minor play to learn where to place it, but it does have a small guide that gets you to the right place and unlike the review of some other 3rd party units once it is seated it stays seated. For me the included Thumb Grip Kit is a waste. Others may like it so I wont entirely dismiss its value but it has no value to me. And the major PLUS was that after waiting a long time for original PS5 availability to no avail, I decided to try this product and it did not disappoint. I would give it a solid 9.5 out of 10. The slight deduction is that the seating, although good, with the lack of the magnetic connection it is not as good as the original Sony product. Highly recommended.

Might be even better than the real thing. Since they’re all sold out I figured I’d pick it up and I love how the light pulses it looks great in the dark especially next to the ps5’s led lights at the same time it charges them super quickly

Just a note if you have rubber skin on controller it will not charge.. But if you don’t have skin on your controller will work great...

Products works as intended. The best thing is that it plugs through electricity which eliminates the need for USB port and ensure a continuous charging. My controllers never ran out of charge. I wish they invent a product with the same principle for wireless headsets! That would be awesome
