> 3 dayWow! just Wow! Ive never seen a filter so clear, I was totally convinced there was no glass in it until I tilted it to reflect the light, It is much smaller than my 55mm lens so I did need to use a step down adapter but the filter works great, completely undetectable. I did struggle to get it off adapter the threading is a little tight.

> 3 dayWorks well with my Sony ZV-1s wide angle addon attachment from NEEWER. The 62mm is a perfect fit and the metal quality is excellent.

15-11-2024UV filters are one of those contentious items to buy for your lens. After really thinking about it, purchasing a decent UV filter to protect my $1500 lens to protect the element is definitely worth the investment. Ive gone with and without a filter during my time as a prosumer photographer, and if youre processing your photos, I feel you can make up for the slight softness a UV filter may give, even if its psychological. But at the end of the day, I definitely want to protect my lens from any scratches, so its worthwhile.

> 3 dayI ordered this as a backup UV filter and didnt expect too much. I purchased a brand name filter not too long ago and paid several times what this one is priced at. Whats impressive is how close this lens to my name brand lens in terms of quality. You can tell that the name brand lens is more substantial and probably offers more protection. As far as picture quality, I cant tell the difference. Im sure the more expensive filter has higher quality glass with a gazillion layers of coating and could withstand falling into a volcano but this is seriously a decent filter at the price point. One of the other reviewers mentioned the grippy edge which makes for easy removal and I concur that this is an excellent feature. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayThis is review of Nisi UHC UV Filter (82mm). Filter comes in a nice plastic box with a lens cloth and a sheet describing filter features. The frame is made of aluminum and overall, the filter is very light as compared to my name brand German filter that has a brass frame. I think the brass frame would provide more protection from a fall than an aluminum framed filter, but it also depends on the distance of the fall as well. I normally, just have a UV filter to protect my lens from bumping and accidentally touching with my fingers, hopefully, not to experience a lens drop. Comparing the two, there were no differences in picture resolution or color saturation when using a 45mp camera. Both filters are nano-coated, so water just slides off easily. I was impressed with the performance of this filter as compared to my more expensive filter. Based on the glass I would rate this 5-stars.
