> 24 hourHe uses it now as a bed and bathroom. (^_^*) I think if I got something smaller he would use it just for fun.

> 24 hourMy hamster loves her sand bath. She even sleeps in it haha (in the hideout area). Shes done a little digging in the reptile sand I put in there for her. I like that it comes with a little food dish on top. Its a decent size and quality for the price.

> 24 hourThis is the perfect sand bath container. My hamster spends so much time in his sand bath. He even uses the back corner as a litter box. The niteangel wheel fits perfect on the ledge. It was a great addition to my niteangel cage.

> 24 hourMy products originally came broken, they reached out to me through my review and offered to replace the items completely free! I love this product and so does my hamsters. It’s very sturdy and spacious.

> 24 hourEven with measuring this, it is big and bulky. The sides are high for most animals. They still shake a good bit of sand out of the box. The food bowl is impractical, poorly reachable, too shallow.

> 24 hourWe have a small animal playpen in our living room, and our kids often bring one or the other of our Syrian hamsters out there during the day when theyre awake (never both, of course!). We have several products from NiteAngel, including the sandbox and the large six-room maze house, which are both in the playpen. Theyre both well-built and sturdy but not too expensive. The hamsters love both items! They like to dig in the sand, and the high sides of the sandbox keep the sand from coming out very much. There are other hideys in the playpen available for sleeping, but we always find a hamster sleeping either in the dark area of the sandbox, or a room of the house. My 14-y.-o. daughter has remarked that she really likes both items, and it takes a lot for her to say she likes something! No one has peed in there yet, but I imagine that would soak in and be stinky, and would also bother the other hamster (since peeing is marking territory). I read the other day about sealing the boxes with mineral oil, so Im going to try that to keep any urine smells from soaking in. The Zoo Med Deluxe Scooper, also sold by Amazon, is the perfect size for cleaning this. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ENGOR6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
