> 3 dayI ordered the small, which fits perfectly on my dresser. I would love to have the space for the larger one in the future, and when I do I will get it. It was fairly easy to put together, but I wish the corners fit tighter together. It comes with tape, which was annoying to put down. I wish there was a plastic corner piece instead. I went all in and purchased the platforms, wheel, hideout, and water bottle from Niteangel, and they are all good quality. I have the space to have six inches of bedding for my hamster to burrow in and she loves it.

> 3 dayI dont normally write reviews, but wanted to share that Im extremely happy with the quality of this product. Built very well, packaged extremely well, and overall its a beautiful product. I was about to spend $130 on a wire-frame hamster enclosure with a thin, plastic bottom that looks like it cost around $5 to make, as its essentially all thats available at most pet stores. Decided to splurge and spend an additional $100 on this enclosure and man was it worth it. Yes, $230 is pricey, but when you consider its just $80-100 more than those plastic and wire enclosures its not that bad. This thing actually looks really nice in your home and is great quality. Ive read that its better for the health of your hamsters too as they can get too cold in the open, wire enclosures and that it can force them into a hibernation state. This enclosure is a night and day difference to the other stuff out there. I will quickly add that I did have one slight issue with the hinge for the enclosure, but customer service was excellent. I e-mailed them with the specific issue and within hours I had a response and a tracking number for a new part. Within 36 hours of my initial e-mail I already had a replacement part at my front door, and now everything is perfect.

> 3 dayMy daughter has a lovely little Syrian hamster named Chicken Nugget. After researching hamster needs, we decided the bigger the better for a happy, healthy hamster. This enclosure is perfect. Easy to assemble, large enough to make the hamster happy with plenty of deep bedding, housing, and divisions for a sandy wheel area, dirt digs and so on. The best part is even elevated on a small table, my 12 year old is able to reach in and clean the entire enclosure by herself because of the oblique door opening.

> 3 dayThe only problem I have is for the price of this cage the wood should be thicker it seems very flimsy but other than that I love the style and we’ll see how my little mouse does in his new cage it was also really easy to put together

> 3 dayIt’s sturdier than their older style, the box shape. Easier to see the hamsters too & it helps the hamsters be less shy, where as the box cages offer so much privacy they become a little timid. However the hamsters can easily get out of these so make sure not to forget to close it. Also the wheels don’t fit on this cage because the wood is a bit thicker. The box shape hamster cages are nice because you can turn them around to face the all when landlords come over & pretend they are tables, but with this style you can’t do that

20-11-2024I love this hamster cage it’s so cute and gives my hamster space to roam. It was a little hard to put together only because of the bands you use instead of screws but other than that it’s fine. sometimes it’s a little hard to clean but i still get it clean. love love love this cage

> 3 daySo much space. Pretty sturdy, I suggest two people for fastest and easiest assembly. Easy to put together. Had some reservations about the silicone bands but they went on fine and I’ve had no problems. If there’s a gap between the lid and the front wall you. An adjust the hinges up top and it will drop down to close the gap. Also, let it settle. Mine seals perfectly against the silicone protector.

Greater than one weekGlad I waited to purchase this cage instead of the other one. I really like the opening door and the height of it, gives me a lot more room to put her wheel wherever(: the door is slightly warped from packaging I’m assuming but not by a lot. Setting it up was pretty easy considering I did it myself. Im glad a cage like this exist!

> 3 dayThe minimum recommended size cage for hamsters (any species) is 450in² (1143cm) The 32.9x17.2x21.1 cage sq inch is 565.92in² (1437.4cm) The 40.7x22.7x22.9 cage sq inch is 931.68in² (2366.4cm) Which is x2 the recommended size. The 47.1x22.7x26.9 cage sq inch is 1068.48in² (2713.9cm) Which is x2.37 the recommended size. There is no Maximum recommended size, the bigger the happier. With the two larger cages you could split the cage in half and have two hamsters in one box. This enclosure allows for more than 3 inches of substrate (below-recommended minimum) Personal experience: My cage was very quick to set up with only a few broken bands. they gave me around 8 or so extra bands so it was no worry. One thing to keep in mind is the fact they use acrylic for the side panels which means if you use paper bedding you WILL have static issues. (however, this means you can remove some dust from the bedding by wiping down the sides) Assembly/ Setup: This tank is very easy to assemble. I put mine together quietly and quickly. If you are movement restricted I can see this being a little hard but doable by yourself or with some help. In the set up they gave you paper tape to waterproof the edges of the tank. This of course will not actually be waterproof, resists water at best. I do recommend putting the tape in as it will stop bedding and possibly little fingers from slipping in the cracks. tl;dr this is the best cage by size, assembly, and visibility I can find for a decent price on the market.

> 3 dayExpected better quality from a reputable brand and for the price. This arrived today and my girls were so excited to put this together for our new hamsters. Right away we noticed some of the pieces were damaged. It may have gotten damaged during delivery but I feel better measures should have been in place to ensure protection. We still were able to assemble it. Though we couldn’t get the silicone bands around two of three of the damaged parts, we thankfully were still able to put it together once we screwed everything in. I may try to add another screw to the bottom corner for extra stability since it’s still not completely secure if you push it out. The lid however is pretty flimsy as it keeps getting caught when you lift it and try to put it back down which is annoying. On the positive side, the hamsters are very happy in their new home.
