Expected better quality from a reputable brand and for the price. This arrived today and my girls were so excited to put this together for our new hamsters. Right away we noticed some of the pieces were damaged. It may have gotten damaged during delivery but I feel better measures should have been in place to ensure protection. We still were able to assemble it. Though we couldn’t get the silicone bands around two of three of the damaged parts, we thankfully were still able to put it together once we screwed everything in. I may try to add another screw to the bottom corner for extra stability since it’s still not completely secure if you push it out. The lid however is pretty flimsy as it keeps getting caught when you lift it and try to put it back down which is annoying. On the positive side, the hamsters are very happy in their new home.

    Greater than one week

We had a minimum size hamster cage (about 450 sq in) but it wasnt deep enough for burrowing or for a really big wheel, and our long haired Syrian hamster is one lively little guy who needed more room to roam - I saw this cage, the Niteangel Vista, and it was just what we were looking for. It looks like a really nice piece of furniture; very attractive, was packed incredibly well, and was super easy to assemble. Our hamster loves it!

These cages are hands down the best cages for hamsters you can get. They stand out in an industry that doesnt seem to understand that size matters. At roughly 47x22 inches, this cage gives you 1,034 square inches of space, easily 3-5 times the space youd usually get for a hamster cage, and thats not even counting burrow space if you fill it with a good amount of bedding. This will give a far happier life to your little fur ball, hands down, and thats why I give this 5 stars. However, the boards are held together with rubber bands, and it does feel a tad flimsy. No tragedies have struck yet, and I doubt there will unless the roof caves in, or someone decides to handle it in a less than lovingly tender way it deserves, but it is my first impression. The instructions are clear, everything was labeled and packaged with care, and everything fit all together. This brand has never failed me in cages or accessories and this cage is absolutely worth the buy unless you live on a fault line.

So, the best thing about this cage is the size, and thats it. Its cheaply made and held together by rubber bands. The worst part is that you literally have to use tape to seal it so it doesnt leak bedding. Spend over 200 to have to tape it. Come on. The screws on the front didnt match. Better off to wait for a discount on a large fish tank. The fish tank would be heavier, but at least its sturdy and has some resell value. I regret my purchase and dont recommend it.

It’s sturdier than their older style, the box shape. Easier to see the hamsters too & it helps the hamsters be less shy, where as the box cages offer so much privacy they become a little timid. However the hamsters can easily get out of these so make sure not to forget to close it. Also the wheels don’t fit on this cage because the wood is a bit thicker. The box shape hamster cages are nice because you can turn them around to face the all when landlords come over & pretend they are tables, but with this style you can’t do that

Assembly is relatively easy. I purchased the medium size, and there will be plenty of room for a hammie to run around. I purchased the wheels as well, and it glides around easily. The wood is sturdy enough, but it’s also relatively light for its size. The only issue I can see it that the rubber bands used to hold the wooden sides and top together pop off pretty easily.

Love the look of this cage! Very spacious and was fairly easy to assemble. One thing we dont love is the hinging when you open and close the case, especially when closing. It doesnt just close. It seems to get stuck and you have to move it side to side until its in a perfect place to close all the way. Other than that, though, we love it!
