Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Slim Fan, 4-Pin (120x15mm, Black)

Warning: The fan cable for chromax version is only a 1” long dongle. The 4-pin PWM “extension” cable included serves AS the entirety of the fan power cable. The “swappable” colored rubber pads are adhesive one-time-use, so not really swappable like on other chromax fans.. Doesn’t include 4-Pin PWM splitter y-cable, low noise adapter (LNA), anti-vibration rubber mounts, or an actual PWM extension cable that the brown version includes AND is more expensive than the brown version. The chromax version is NOT just a black version of the beige/brown fan, it Is physically different and does not include the same accessories. You are probably better off saving your money and getting the standard brown version. However the fan itself is typical high quality Noctua, but for the price the standard Noctua accessories should be included. I took two stars off for that, and for switching to a tiny 1” PWM power cable.

I used these where I needed a little more air intake at the bottom of a case for a GPU. They will get me 5-10c lower temperatures with little noise.

Very effective fans that are easy to work with and near silent! I was very pleasantly surprised by how quiet these are because even when running on high speed its still quieter than any other computer Ive ever had. Worth your money!

I am baffled at ppl saying the fan its self is physically different. Its the same in black with different accessories in the box. When you tell someone the fan is physically different you make them think its not even the same fan when in fact it is. If you dont know how to hide a fan cable or make it look clean then you need to learn cable management. As far as the fan its self goes. Its the same fan with the same specs. The fans cable however is different in that it has a short piece hanging off you connect your extensions to. I still cannot understand why ppl are saying the FAN is physically different when it is NOT... Expect the SAME performance you get with a brown fan. You just dont get all the extras. Who cares about low noise pieces? We all have fan control and have had it for over a decade. These posts show how new some of these builders are. Enjoy the fan.. its an excellent product.

With all the hype and new PC build i thought i would take a stab at these and see if they are really all that good... So far they are quiet and seem to push a good amount of air out. I like the slim feature on these as i needed them for the top case fans and my GPU card takes up some room in my micro ATX build. worth the price!? Meh.... bought x2 and x2 140s for 100$! better last a looooong time..

I started with Noctua on my CPU cooling and was so impressed with the quality that I started using them for case fans. Sure theyre more expensive than most fans, but I also know what Im getting and know that I will not be disappointed. Im willing to pay extra for that.

These fans are really solid. I bought four of these for my SFF build. They are super quiet.

This is a great high-performance, low noise fan for a tight spot. Its exactly what I needed for a build.

These fans work great and move a lot of air in my SFF NR200 case, theyre slim enough to allow you to use a larger CPU air cooler and a larger 2.5-3 slot GPU.

Ive used Noctua before so when I needed to add an exhaust fan to my Lian Li Lancool II Mesh case, this was the preferred option. I wanted something long-lasting and quiet that could move any warm air out of the case. So far so good. The only problem I had was with an Amazon retailer. When I first ordered the fan, I got a message that it was on back order with a date a few weeks out, no big deal. I waited and waited without any other message so I ordered it again this time through Amazon from Noctua in Austria. I ended up getting both fans at the same time. So, be patient. These are apparently popular fans.
