I needed a slim fan for my CPU as the RAM slots on my motherboard were put fan too close to the CPU. I trust Noctua and was happy to see they had one. The fan itself is great. Im taking a star away for each silly design flaw that wouldve made this perfect. The cable is comically short. The fan header on my motherboard is right by this fans power cable. I still had to use the extension cable that came with the fan. I dont know what engineer decided to put such a short cable on this thing but I dont think theyve ever been inside a computer in their life. Unlike every other computer fan Ive used, you cant use clips from the side. They put a thick middle layer in the way. I had to drill small holes to be able to attach it to my CPU. Despite these strange design decisions, it is keeping my CPU nice and cool.

Warning: The fan cable for chromax version is only a 1” long dongle. The 4-pin PWM “extension” cable included serves AS the entirety of the fan power cable. The “swappable” colored rubber pads are adhesive one-time-use, so not really swappable like on other chromax fans.. Doesn’t include 4-Pin PWM splitter y-cable, low noise adapter (LNA), anti-vibration rubber mounts, or an actual PWM extension cable that the brown version includes AND is more expensive than the brown version. The chromax version is NOT just a black version of the beige/brown fan, it Is physically different and does not include the same accessories. You are probably better off saving your money and getting the standard brown version. However the fan itself is typical high quality Noctua, but for the price the standard Noctua accessories should be included. I took two stars off for that, and for switching to a tiny 1” PWM power cable.

I use two of these with my Corsair radiator to help provide clearance over the RAM chips which allows me to mount my radiator on top using push exhaust instead of a front mounted pull setup. I run these at 100% non stop and last a couple of years, theyre quiet what more could you ask for?

Way quieter than what my stock case fan by Cougar is. It moves a good amount of air for size it size. If you need more space in your case or have only a little to begin with get this fan.

I dont think I need to add anything other than the title. These fans speak for themselves. I have used them in an NR200 build with the following specs.

Bought to fit on the front of a D15S. This fan fit perfectly - to not get in the way of the GPU radiator that is top mounted and not touch the rgb ram in a mid-tower case. Black Chromax version matches with the cooler nicely. If you need a fan that fits in tight spaces this may work for you.

I needed fans that I could put underneath my case for extra airflow, but regular fans cannot fit underneath my case. When I tried the regular size fans, the fans would be pushing on the ground. These fans were perfect to put underneath my case. I also bought some shrouds to put on the fans where I dont accidently put my fingers in the blades or break the blades. The case Im using is a Razer mini ITX, so the GPU takes up all the space at the bottom of the case, so I cant put the fans inside the case.

Estaba en la búsqueda de unos abanicos para poner en la parte inferior de mi case Cooler master nr200p, pero con una 3080 no le cabían los abanicos comunes de 25mm y tuve que buscar unos más delgados como éstos.
