> 3 dayI bought these after buying a couple of pairs of a high powered fans from Silverstone (FHP-141). Both pairs I recieved, while producing a great amount of airflow, were accompanied by a very loud and noticeable grinding whine at as little as 50% rated RPM. When you held the fans in your hand during operation, the reason why was clear... the rotors were imbalanced (terribly!), which to me pointed to a problem in production quality. These fans would fail within a year! (I am an engineer by trade)

> 3 dayYeah these are the best fans hands down. I replaced my old pc case fans that came with my case and holy crap does it make a difference. Not only do I not hear the fans even at full speed compared to the old ones, they keep my cpu and gpu 10-20 degrees cooler… I understand the hype now. 10/10 I’ve never been cooler.

> 3 dayWhisper quiet. Cant tell if PC is on sometimes. Did not use low rpm adapter. Running in a bottom mount pull configuration. Replaced a:XIGMATEK AOS XAF-F1453 140mm ( 800 - 1300 RPM 90.3 CFM). Running in conjunction with 2 NF-F12 PWMs on Corsair H100i cpu radiator and 3 case NF-S12As. Great combo for quiet/moderate airflow. Cant gauge temp change on my video cards due to forgetting to benchmark temps with old case fans (Antec 1600 RPM 56 CFM basic fans) and XIG. fan...but if memory serves...temps went up 3 degrees on video cards.

> 3 dayThe NF-A14 PWM is the best all-around 140mm fan in the world, even better than its more expensive brother, the iPPC variant.
