Im sold on Noctua fans. They are practically inaudible when running at low speed, which is all mine need to do to keep my case cool. I can hear the other stock fans that came with my case, but not the Noctuas.

Well, if you are reading this review, then you have done your research, just like me. For $20 a fan, I must say, that it is quite expensive. However, like everyone else says, it really is worth the money. One thing I would recommend: DO NOT USE THE LOW NOISE ADAPTER. It is completely pointless. Basically, it prevents the minimum voltage from getting to your fans. When I first started it, it would spin, but then it would just stop after 5mins. It wouldnt even register in the BIOS. But now I got it. Also, make sure you motherboard supports TRUE PWM support. Even though my motherboard has 4-pins, I cant control the fans based of what I think it is. However, Gigabyte has great features that allows you to figure out what needs to be done.

Some of the best computer case fans that money can buy.

I have three of these in my Corsair 550D build: two surrounding a 140mm Kraken X40 radiator and one on the 550D side panel. All three installed trouble-free, and the noise reduction from the stock fans on the Corsair case is tremendous.

I ordered 1 fan to many for my new custom pc and the people at Platinum Micro were awesome to deal with during the return. Thanks so much. I will buy from again.

As others noted, made in China version is surprisingly noisy (I never used the made in Taiwan version.) Even with low noise connected attached, it was louder than Arctic F14 PWM PST CO. Without it, it was too loud to sit next to it.
