Fan spins and is quiet. One of the few that fits a haf xb evo

I purchase a lot of Noctua fans for building high-end computers, so wanted to try these out. On the plus side, they are silent and come with the necessary black sound/vibration pads. On the minus side, they move a bit less air than I had expected (perhaps I am just too used to the industrial line) and the price is a bit too high. There are cases where this would be great and I can say that these are better quality than many fans of a similar size. Buy these if you need a fan of this size, but note that a couple Noctua industrial 140 fans will move more air if that is what you are looking for.

Not amazed by the build style of these fans. Way too much plastic around the 5 different mounting holes. There is a super short cable lead from the fan, immediately to an extension connector - which means the connector is super close to the fan and the case which doesnt allow you to fit in any tight spaces. Too much versatility made this fan not functional for the case Im using - Cooler Master HAF X case - which they do not fit on the top (where you can mount two 200mm fans).

I wanted the fan that is shown on the cooler master haf xb case but didnt want to spend the ninety nine dollars cooler master wanted for it. The holes on this fan align perfectly, the fan is super quite and moves a nice volume of air. Just be aware of the thicknes and ensure you will have clearance with what ever cpu cooler you have on your rig. The fan feels like a quality built product, will buy this brand again.

This fan is nice. You dont know it yet, but it is. One of the nicest things is the mounting points on the fan. I have two Cooler Master HAF XB EVOs, they take a 200mm fan in the top plate. Not just any fan, but one with the holes in a strange rectangular configuration. This fan has that. That is a rarity you may not realize. It adds value here, now and in the future.

This absolute bohemith of a fan works quietly, but pushes an astronomical amount of air through. The build quality is amazing (as expected) since its a Noctua product. I expect this bad boy to run for a long time, currently using it on one of my servers.

I bought a new Cougar case because it had a solid side panel with a perforated inlet for a 200mm fan. My system is air cooled. However, the size of the CPU cooler that was on my mobo, this would not fit inside, so I opted to mount outside as in the picture. I was worried about the noise at first. But top speed is 800rpm, and the fan is really quiet. Even while gaming it doesnt whine. Also, it comes with an extender cable and rubber corner pads. Im really happy with it.

Bought these for a specific case mod where i needed to eject heat from a gaming PC mounted in a confined near ceiling box. I mounted two of these side by side on what used to be the face of the PC and can I tell you what no issues whatsoever with these fans solving my cooling woes. At first I was thinking that I would need to have some 120mm fans blowing INTO the case and these two fans blowing out of the case to ensure the flow of air needed to cool the 1070 TI and the I7-3770 when getting bench marked. With this push pull setup I found that the CFM pull of one of these fans was equal to nearly 4 of my other 120mm fans.... so what would happen the 120mm fans would be sucked faster than they normally would spin causing excessive fan noise. After removing all the 120mm fans and only having these pull air through the PC all the 120 mm fan noise went away and the cooling was maximized. Oh YA! Ill post a pic of my mod some other time.
