> 3 dayI purchased this fan to replace the fans in a Behringer EPQ304 that I use for a home studio. The amp had 2 40mm x 20mm fans that somewhat quiet, I could still hear the fan noises over subdued music passages. They were a bit noisier than I wanted. The Noctua fans were 40mm x 10mm and bolted into place. I removed the old fans including the female latching part off the amplifier, and used the 3pin to 2 pin adapter included into the fan kit. I tested the amp with the cover off to make sure everything was operational and I was met with total silence. The fans were spinning and I noted the output was half the original ones but were still blowing well. I put the amp back together and ran music for 3-4 hours at medium-loud volume setting and noted the amp was not even warm to the touch so I think all will be well. I recommend this fan as an excellent replacement if you need quiet operation as long as you do not need the higher output of the original fans.

Reduced motor hub size
