> 24 hourFor such a small fan, it really is awesome. The amount of love and care in these fans is apparent -- they just work and they do it quietly. The included adapter to lower the RPM even more is an awesome perk. That said, these colors are so terrible.

> 24 hourThe fans are perfect for small rack mount servers.

> 24 hourGreat fan that came with a lot of extras (stabilizers, rubber feet to decrease noise, and multiple options for connecting it). Only issue is that it is about 2mm bigger between the holes than it says. This probably is not an issue for most (as this fits a standard configuration in a computer) but it did not work for my purposes (replacing a noisy fan in my aquarium hood). 4 Stars because of the misfit, and because I had to order this twice (the first time it never showed up, but amazon refunded my money so it was all good).

> 24 hourReplaced stock fan in our nx300d amplifier with this fan. A bit of a passion to do but the sound reduction is pretty amazing. I suspect it also moves a bit less air but am very happy with the compromise

> 24 hourI replaced a cpu fan in Thinkcentre M93p. It works, but fails POST, as lenovos motherboard does not support zero rpm mode that this fan has, giving the two beeps and cpu fan error. Or something else might be the issue, but that is why I took down one star. Other than that, it is a great fan, silent, and with good airflow.

> 24 hourI have a Corsair Air 240 case which had an EVGA GTX 770 2 GB ACX GPU in, which kicked out quite a bit of warm air into the case. I already had two 120mm top-mounted fans pulling air up and out the top of the case, but I wanted to get some back-mounted exhaust fans as well to pull out additional heat. Since the Air 240 is limited to 80mm back exhaust fans, these Noctua NF-A8 fans provided exactly what I needed. I used the ASUS Q-Fan control to tune the fans, and these bad boys help keep the case whisper quiet while still turning up the RPMs when detecting heat exceeding preset thresholds. Im not a huge fan of the color scheme (since nearly everything else in my case is either black or silver/white), but its not enough to knock any stars off the product itself.

> 24 hourI recently started hearing a fan whine coming from my cpu cooler fan. Being since its a old Dell xps 8700 with a i7 4790. I didnt want to buy a cpu cooler for it since its never given me a heat issue. I was already planning to clean out the old thermal paste on it and decided to purchase this. I had already swapped out the rear fan about 2 years back with a noctua 92mm fan to help with the noise and improve thermals. Happy to say you dont hear it at all and noticing my cpu idling a little bit cooler with the stock heatsink attached.
