> 3 dayI bought two of these to replace the cheap fans in my rackmount case. Not only are these Noctua fans well engineered and designed they are dead quiet. I used the rubber mounting grommets that are shipped as an install option in lieu of the metal screws. This really helps reduce any vibration noise on the case. Noctua products are simply hard to beat.

I switch Noctua fan with my old one and i thought my PC died on start up because of the sudden drop of noise after 1-2 second of starting up. I can actually hear what is happening inside my PC now due to the fan being almost dead silent.

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
