Greater than one weekI am using other 120mm Noctura fans, and they are of good quality and run quietly forever. Quiet is the name of the game and Noctura does not disappoint. I purchased this 80mm fan based on past and present experience. I added it to my homebrew desktop computer specifically to cool a NVME Samsung 980 solid state C-drive (also purchased from Amazon). The ultra quiet Noctura fan knocked 20 degrees Celsius off the NVME. The fan comes with mounting gear, but I used plastic ties to position it for maximum cooling. This was installed at least 15 months ago, and all is still good. My rig only uses Noctura. Yes, highly recommend.

> 3 dayBought several of these. Used them as case fans and also to replace two powersupply fans on older Antec Basique 500w. Quiet reliable fans, working for few years already without an issue. Using the provided resistors makes them even quieter. Will not consider other brands.

> 3 dayThis was easy to install and i am an 65 year old with arthritic hands! They had different hardware depending on your need. Works great and not noisy. My desk top cabinet is right next to my recliner. I never hear it.

> 3 dayThis is the quietest fan Ive ever used - dead silent, in fact; however, the reason its so quiet is that it doesnt spin. When the computer starts, the fan spins for less than a second then does nothing, no matter how warm the computer gets. Ive tried several other fans on the same MB header, all work. The other fans are noisier than Id like, which is why I ordered this one. If, however, the tradeoff for a quieter computer is overheating, Ill endure the noise.

Greater than one weekI ordered a new fan, but it is clearly a used product, look at the pictures. Dont buy here it can happen to you as like me. First time that happend to me in Amazon. Buy from another seller. At least the fan works and it is silent.

> 3 dayrigged this to an old GTS 290 whose fan died. used somewhat heavy duty thread to tie it to the heatsink. It was easy to remove the plastic protector from the fan plug on the board and plug this one in. works well and I have better temps that before (basic daily usage), even after cleaning while still using the old fan.
