> 24 hourBought this as a air circulation fan for a Vivarium. Its been a few months and its still going strong in a very humid (80%-100%) environment. Super quiet...cant even tell its on with my ear pressed up against the glass. Pushes air through a fine mesh no problem.

> 24 hourQuiet is an understatement. I have them on a server without the adapter that reduces noise further and with all the server fans off, I can not hear them. They are great.

> 24 hourUsing this in a MSI Z170A M7 / i5-6600K build. You have to set the Smart Fan controls in bios first (didnt see my boot ssd otherwise) and then it is whisper quiet. I also have the NH-L12 low profile CPU cooler. when hooked up and the NF-P12 case fan. If you let the motherboard control these fans, you have a hard time knowing they are on. CPU and case temps are in the blue, even during video conversion. Love these fans and you cant go wrong with Noctua!

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
