> 3 dayI used this fan in my Tripp Lite rack mount UPS, since the fan in the unit runs 24x7. It did make the unit quieter, but not by much of a margin. Im thinking about doing something more complicated and measuring the heat on components directly, then enabling the fan until they cool down.

> 3 dayI just replaced my included Antec case fans with this these after 5 years. I guess I was used to the humming that the old fans would emit. But it was quiet to the point of being a little eerie after installing these. They literally are giving off none, no, zip, audible noise.

Greater than one weekI have had the fan installed 6 months. It has worked flawlessly. I purchased it to reduce the noise from my PC. It helped greatly.

> 3 dayUnlike some other fans Ive tried, this unit remains quiet several months after installation. It is expensive, but worth it to me.

> 3 dayThis is the best fan you can buy. I have one of these and 3 120mm Noctuas, and they are well made, come with many useful accessories (adapter cables, silencer cables, extension cables, extra grommets) and are nearly silent when properly controlled by software or using the silencer cable (which reduced the fans RPM). Well worth the extra money, especially for a living room system that is powered on 24x7 and needs reliability and low noise.

> 3 dayTop and perfect fans! Replace all fans to the brand Noctua! Plus also installed Noctua for CUP and my raid controllers 40x10 Noctua fan is on the way of delivery! So my little tiny box will have total 6 Noctua fans!

> 3 dayReplaced the noisy humming fan in an inexpensive HTPC case with this fan. Used the adapter to reduce fan speed to 1100.. The anti vibration mounts eliminate any issues with noise being transferred to the case. This may be the best 15.99 I ever spent. That may seem like a lot, but eliminating the noise that came from the other fan made my ears happy. No change in before and after temps as measured by RealTemp. Noctura will be my go to in the future when I need any type of computer fan.

> 3 dayWow. What a difference. I replaced a Silenx Ixtrema Pro IXP-54-14 that had seized up. The packaging reminds me of a Nest or iPhone. Build quality seems to be very good, the power cable was a little short but an extension cable is included (along with a 3 to 4 pin adapter and a low-noise cable that makes the fan spin slower). Took five minutes to swap out the fans and it is very silent. Better quality than I expected. A pleasant surprise.
