> 3 daythese fans seem to make an ambiently loud room quieter even, its crazy, I have 2 of these pushing on a radiator on the lowest thermal speed settings and my CPU never reaches above 40C and I cant hear them even with my ear next to them. The loudest part of these things is the color scheme.

> 3 dayDefinitely recommend these fans. Smooth, quiet and efficient. Theyre new (of course!) so not long term tested but can confidently recommend. A modest cost upgrade but of noticeable real benefit.

> 3 dayLet me say first, the rating has nothing to do with the color scheme. I knew what I was getting as far as that goes and so I have no complaint there. I will say these fans do move a fair amount of air, theyre built very well, and the box they come in is nice. That said, these fans are a huge disappointment to me. I bought them based on reputation, because as most know theirs is very good. The point for me was fans that perform very well, are QUIET, and not obtrusive. The whole point of paying the premium price being the key word- quiet. At a distance of 6 feet, these fans in an enclosed case, are as loud as a 20 box fan sitting about 2 feet away. I tried them in multiple configurations, on a radiator being the first. Performance was good but not nearly what I had heard. In terms of cooling and sound level, they fail on both accounts- especially noise. Ive tried them as intake fans behind a filter, again LOUD. Tried as an intake in the bottom of my case which resulted in an unbearable buzzing. I really, really wanted to like these fans because the reviews both professional and from the average user are nearly universally excellent. To be fair, the focus-flow technology does seem to work as advertised but I have a number of other fans from a multitude of manufacturers that cost considerably less(especially if you dont get them on Amazon) that are quieter even at higher RPMs and perform as well and in some cases, better. Im not bashing Noctua, they are obviously doing some things right, but the NF-F12s have not impressed me in the slightest. The only reason I didnt return them is I didnt want to take a loss on return shipping and Im sure I will find a use for them in a customer build. Maybe its just my hyper-sensitive ears, but I honestly dont think they are worth the premium price. At the same time, I imagine they will last at least the 6 years they are warrantied for. They are heavy, solid, and just feel like they are built well. Still, I just cant get past the noise.

Greater than one weekNoctua fans are the best Ive used. Very well built and quiet. Move air very well, without a lot of noise or vibration.

> 3 dayFans really are a big improvement over previous icegiant x4 fans that were included with the cooler (ProSiphon Elite). High sound-reduction and cooling remains on par.

> 3 dayFirstly, Ive never had Noctua fans in the past because I was of the mindset that they just could not be worth the price. Boy was I wrong. These fans run near silent compared to the stock h100i Platinum RGB fans while also cooling better with a higher static pressure. These works great in my Louqe Ghost S1 when paired with the 240mm AIO. I will definitely be using nothing but Noctua fans from now on. Oh, lets not forget, they have a freaking SIX YEAR warranty.
