> 3 dayi just installed this fan (noctua NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM) instead of a generic unbranded 140mm fan, and i immediately notice a difference in temperature, i use an all aircooled system, and that generic fan was the only intake fan. CPU temperature has dropped by about 3c under synthetic load after installing the noctua fan

Greater than one weekgood fan but can be a little loud, as its large though you can dial back the speed and still get decent air flow from it. I have two if these in my setup and works well. Nice to have a 140mm fan that fits into 120mm.

> 3 dayThey are more quiet than my nzxt case fans and look better in the case too. Overall would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their car fans.

> 3 dayDoes what its supposed to do. Isnt the ugly shades of brown. Powerful and quiet. Now if only Noctua made a version with LEDs ;-)

> 3 dayBought this fan to replace the rather pathetic Fractal fan in the back of my R5. Once installed boy did it move the air but the noise was a little high. However, I could tell it was pushing far more then the Fractal which I could only get up to around 850-900rpm. The Noctua was running at around 1400 so I switched it down to around 60% or 1050 rpm and its almost silent but still pulling out far more air than the Fractal. I may well replace the front fan with one of these too.

> 3 dayStarting at 1050 rpm there is a noticeable hum with these. Its feint at 1050 rpm, but becomes very noticeable as you go higher and is downright annoying at full speed.

> 3 dayGreat fan as expected from Noctua. Does not include low noise adapters (probably because its a PWM fan with 4 pin connector) or any accessories except for 4 screws. I love the colour; beats brown and beige hands down.

> 3 dayAs quiet as the 140mm that came with my NF-D14, but with a higher RPM. Possibly knocks a couple degrees off the cooler as well. I really only purchased it for the fourth pin (PWM) and neutral color, however, now I miss the maroon and taupe of the old fan.

10-06-2025The first time you install it you actually have to carve the screws form into the hole; it doesnt take much strength, but if your screwdriver has a poor grip you might have a bad time doing it.
