> 3 dayThe product arrived faster than i thought. Great air flow for that size and barely can hear the noise coming from the fan.

> 3 dayUsed this to replace an older computers CPU fan. I am amazed by how quiet it is, even at higher RPMs. Absolutely worth the extra money.

> 3 dayInstalled in my HTPC. Louder than expected, even at 1,600 RPMs. Pushes plenty of air. However, had to re-install my original Nexus 80 MM fans which were noticeably quieter. Note that this is not the PWM model so I used the motherboard RPM throttling. Nice design. Will use for out-of-the-way computers.

> 3 dayI used this fan (Noctua NF-R8 redux-1800) to quiet down my aftermarket T-Mobile Gateway Trashcan Lid. It required a 3-pin to USB adapter, but works great under 5v power. I am incredibly impressed with how quiet the fan is in this application. Yes, fan speed is reduced, but I don’t need all that much airflow. I just want to provide a bit of active assist without adding to the ambient noise, otherwise. This fan does that, while promising long life, to boot. That’s a huge win/win for me!

> 3 dayNeeded a new fan for my 80mm modded OG Xbox. The cheapo 2500RPM Rosewill LED fan I used to begin with is very loud, and is molex only so cant utilize the Xboxs auto fan control.

04-12-2024Overall this was a terrible experience compared to other noctua fans I have received. Would not recommend do to quality control. Its hit or miss with this company. You may get a good product you may not.

> 3 dayThey run INCREDIBLY quiet, but push a considerable amount of air for being so small.

Greater than one weekI am using this as an intake fan on an old SFF desktop. This fan moves a serious amount of air! I had expected it to be silent as I understand that many Noctua products are. This fan is not silent, but it is easily one of the quietest computer fans I have ever heard. For the amount of air it brings into the system, I am not going to complain about a little noise.
